Malama Kauai donates fresh fruit! Wes Perreira and Michelle Panoke picking up star fruit from Malama

We have been fortunate to partner with Malama Kauai to
get fresh fruits and vegetables from their farm and other
farmers on Kauai. Megan Fox (yes, that’s her real name)
and her team have been very instrumental in getting us the
types of foods that Hawaii Foodbank has not received from
other donors. Malama Kauai is able to make a difference in
our community by identifying essential needs and
aggregating resources to address them – needs that when
met, support our local food systems and strengthen our
community. We are very thankful to be a recipient of the
foods they provide. They are helping us greatly to feed
Kauai islanders in need.

Musketeers

Wes Perreira, Marta and Dan Lane Tasting Kauai helps feed the needy

Our good friends Marta and Dan Lane dropped off
another donation of $269.00 to the Hawaii Foodbank ‐
Kauai Branch. It is amazing how committed these two
have been in helping feed our less fortunate Kauai ohana
over the years. Look for Marta's book: Tasting Kauai
Restaurants 2015 and her Facebook page Tasting Kauai.
Marta donates a portion of all the sales from her book to
the Hawaii Foodbank ‐ Kauai Branch. So far, she has
donated a total of $1,412.00 since 2014.
