What is digital imaging? Digital imaging is the art of making digital images – photographs, printed texts, or artwork through the use of a digital camera or image machine, or by scanning them as a document. Each image is compiled of a certain amount of pixels.

Types of digital cameras
A entry-level compact camera is an inexpensive camera for the amateur digital photographer. These cameras are small and lightweight. They usually come with standard, automatic settings. They tend to be smaller as they don’t have an optical viewfinder. ENTRY-LEVEL COMPACTS
mid-range compacts Mid range cameras bridge the gap between entry-level and professional cameras. They offer more features than entry-level cameras but are not as expensive or complex as professional cameras. These types of cameras do not offer interchangeable lenses.
