Going to Nationals… Bus Trip - 14 hours, over 800 miles, a time change, and an overnight in New Orleans New Orleans, Louisiana
2022 Nationals - Lafayette, Louisiana Along with our sponsor, Mrs. Glenn; and our chaperone, Ms. Mcnear, we had 9 club members in attendance at National convention: Abbie, Chris, Ryan, Raine, Katherine, Lee, Jenna, Danielle, and Keegan. Chris received the Jesse Chambers Scholarship at Nationals!!!

Latin 1 Impromptu Art On the third day of school, the Latin 1’s competed in Impromptu Art to introduce one of the fun activities JCL has to offer. The theme was the Ancient Sea and they had access to various colors of Playdough to make it happen. The Latin 1’s really loved the activity and so many of them have become very involved in the club this year!
During the first three days of school we had a competition between our Latin II through AP Latin students judged by the Latin I Students! Each class was tasked with decorating a window with expo markers and every student in the winning class - 6th Period - received a mini trophy. Classic’s Themed Window Art

Karaoke We have held a number of Karaoke Sessions throughout the year and they have each featured different classically related songs like The Roman Emperor Song, In Taberna, and Pompeii.

Regional Forum We had 75 club members in attendance and brought home over 82 awards!!! Congrats Wisper Reynolds for receiving the Best in Show Award at Regional Forum

Pet Food Supply Drive Service Project We collected and donated over 400 pounds of Pet food to the Brevard Humane Society
Balloon Twisting Day We held a day to practice balloon twisting for Bazaar at State forum. In the end, the club members infatuation for Caesar turned into a whole reenactment of the Ides of March. And the resulting photo won both NJCL and FJCL Photo of the month for February.
