What is water?
You might be wondering what is water, well water is a liquid and it can also be a solid. As an example ice
can be a solid it is just frozen water, that is hard. Water can either be cold or warm water can be warm
from boiling it and water can be cold from keeping it in a freezer.
Water is really important without water we would all be dehydrated and be dead from los of water.
Imagine a planet with no water we would look like mars, all warm, has no water, is only sand and deserts.
It would be terrible and there would be no life.

Where can you find water
You can find water everywhere, well not everywhere but you can find it very easily unless you are in a desert.
I know that because it covers almost ¾ of earth including lakes, rivers, and the ocean.
Believe this or not but you can even find water in the air, this is called water vapor, water gets taken up that
you can not see and that is how rain is made and then it falls and then it falls again.

Different kinds of water
There are many different types of water, let’s start with the water that we all see all day like tap water. Tap water is
water that comes from a tap. There are also many more but my favorite type is mineral water, I picked that because it
is water that is influenced by by carbon dioxide and then that creates a bubby liquid, and if you like sparkling water
than that has this in it. There are so many different types of water or liquid.
This is an example of
Water we drink today
What water helps us with
Water helps with many things like it helps keep us hydrated and 60% of our body is made out of water.
Drinking water can also help our skin do its job, like by keeping our body temperature normal. On a daily
basis you should have about 10 ounces of fluids a day just to keep your body healthy and hydrated.

What we use water for
We need water for many reasons like loss of dehydration. Everytime you breathe you lose a little bit of
water. We need water so much that our body weight is about 60% water, If you ever get a headache then
that means that you need more water. Without water there would be no oxygen and without oxygen there
would be no us.

We would look like
Without water
