As many know, my daughter Cassidy, on behalf of Cassidy

age 19, was recently diagnosed with
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
was admitted to Moffitt Cancer Center Main Parking Lot at Plantation
and is currently undergoing her 4th
week of intensive treatment. Although
the road ahead will be a long one, it
will be a lot less bumpy thanks to the good people that live,
play and work at Plantation.
Your prayers, cards, and incredible generosity have truly
touched and inspired me. It will go a long way in helping my
family through this most difficult time. I look forward to the
day that I am back on the job and thank you in person!

Our Plantation Community Foundation has enjoyed Royal Ride Winners

another successful fundraising season. Through the June
membership’s efforts, we were able to award a Rick & Judy Werner
Community Impact Grant of $16,000 to Habitat for Tony & Carol Mollish
Humanity South Sarasota County. July

The Foundation has generously partnered with Warren & Peg Sisson
Habitat for Humanity South Sarasota County Inc. to August
launch a new home revitalization program. A Brush with Kindness is an Dave & Sharon Phillips
exterior home painting service that offers pressure washing and painting Lou & Anne Valery
for income-qualified homeowners in need. This one-year program is Hab-
itat’s intent to help South Sarasota’s most vulnerable population revitalize
their homes with pride and dignity. Thanks to a $16,000
impact grant from the Foundation and paint donated by Sherwin
Williams, Habitat South Sarasota will be painting one home for a
qualified homeowner per month.
