 The fee for a marriage license is $35, cash only.
 Each person needs a driver’s license or birth certificate.
 You will need to supply your social security number.
 License is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
 You must wait until 6am on the second calendar day after
you apply for the license before you can be married.
 If either party is divorced, you will need proper

documentation signed by a judge.
 If either party has a deceased spouse, you will need the

death certificate.
 You may apply by mail if you live out of state, but it is not

encouraged as it may take up to six months to complete
the process.

If you would like to get married on the beach in Ocean City, you
must obtain permission from City Hall.There is no fee required,
