ABOUT THIS ISSUE

So much has changed in a short period of time and such drastic changes towards the new
normal are evident– to our neighborhoods, communities, the places we work and even in our
door steps. Life in the midst of COVID-19 has sparked fear, frustration and anxiety all around.

During this unprecedented time, while we are focused on defeating this pandemic and the
challenges associated with it, our organization showcased a different perspective. The write
ups we have gathered from different regions are testaments on how far we go to underpin our
nation and the whole world. For Alpha Phi Omega, the principles we believed in and the cores
we stand for are more important among others.

This Torch and Trefoil edition will tell you stories of exceptional services. We highlighted the
APO’s 32nd National General Assembly at Los Banos 2020, the National President’s, Regional
and National Office reports. And of course, what more we can expect from APO’s values put
into action.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the effort of our Managing Editor Sis. Evelyn C.
Canete-Evangelio (Epsilon Upsilon, 2002) for pushing and making this issue into place,
Bro. Jayson Vergara (Epsilon Xi, 2011), one of our lay-out artists, for accepting our call despite
