What kind of a teacher would you like to be

What kind of a teacher would you like to be

What kind of a teacher would you like to be?

A teacher, often known as a schoolteacher or educator, is a person who assists
students in gaining education, quality of technical ability, and the correct morality concept.
The profession of teacher for me is a person who can encourage students and open
students’ minds up to the limitless potential that they can implement. For students, a teacher
is a person who leaves a mark on your heart for life. In education, teaching is the
coordinated sharing of knowledge and experience, which is also the responsibility of a
teacher. For parents, teachers are the ones who let them know their children better during
their busy schedules.

My ambition is to be a teacher. I often wonder that what kind of teacher I would be if I
were a teacher. I thought for a long time, finally thought, I want to be a caring teacher. I want
to be able to quickly understand the needs of students and how I should help them as a
teacher. I want to be a teacher who cares enough about my students. So that, when they get
in touch with me, they will feel at ease. Some students are stubborn and have strong self-
esteem, so I hope that as a teacher, when I care about their situation, I can preserve and
take good care of their self-esteem. For example, there if a student's family is not very good,
every day to walk a long way to school, I want to take him to school. He turned me down
because his self-esteem was too strong. At this time, I will take more care of his feelings,
said that I can take him to school because I am by the way. At the same time, I hope that my
concern for the students will enable them to approach me and trust me. I hope that my
image in the eyes of my students is a person who can be relied on. In my opinion, as a
qualified teacher, we should establish trust with our students. The relationship of mutual trust
can make us better and closer with our students. We can also share our secrets with each
other, so that I can understand deeply my students better, and my students also can
understand their teacher is what kind of person.

Besides that, I want to be an interesting teacher. If I am an interesting teacher,
students will be attracted to me easily. The meaning of interesting I said is interesting in the
way I speak and interesting in the way I teach. If a teacher talks funny, students will be more
attracted to ask him questions. If a teacher teaches in a way that makes the students feel
interesting, they will pay more attention in class. For example, I will be told some short
stories about the teaching content to my students during the class, or they can be organized
to complete the work assigned by me after class. When facing an interesting teacher
someone just like me, students will be more relaxed and not too nervous. As a teacher, I
have the responsibility to make sure that every student is in a comfortable ambiance to
study. A good learning atmosphere allows students to be more focused on their studies, and
they also will more remember that what they have learned.

In addition to this, I also want to be a selfless teacher. In teaching, the class will be all
the knowledge points to teach students, I will not hide some knowledge points, only teach
their remedial students. For instance, I can make up extra lessons after class for students
with poorer grades and do not charge any tuition fees. I would send them some reference
books so that they can learn more. I will also send some small gifts to the top three highest
scorers after their exams so that all students can study harder to do better. Younger
students are curious and have more problems, I will be selfless and patient to teach and
answer my students. I will use my break time to explain their question and solve their
problem. I hope that I can be a teacher who not only cares about myself but also about the
feelings and ideas of my students. I also hope my students know that I really care about
them.

Apart from this, I want to be a fair teacher. As a qualified teacher, one must remain
impartial in dealing with matters. I understand that people are sometimes biased, but as a
teacher, you have to be very fair because your bias may hurt some students who are treated
unfairly. I will maintain a consistent relationship with each student and will not be closer to
one student and treat one student poorly. I will be fair and will not treat my students
differently. The merit of a student's performance does not determine how I treat them. I will
let the students with good academic performance not slack off and continue to work hard
and let the students with lower academic performance make a study plan for themselves and
follow it. I also try to find the bright spots in each student and to appreciate them.

Finally, everyone has their ambition, and my ambition is to become a great teacher. I
want to be a teacher who can produce many good students. In my heart, teachers are like
silent candles that burn themselves and illuminate others. For this ideal of mine, I want to
learn more knowledge so that later on I can impart all the knowledge to the children there. I
also have to learn to enlighten others, if students have troubles, I will quietly listen to them
and enlighten them. I want to be a good teacher with wisdom and ability. Although it is
difficult to be a qualified teacher, I will try my best to solve the difficulties I encounter. There
are no difficult things in the world.
