Dear Parents and Students,

It brings me immense pleasure to unveil the issue of Radiance this year, an
initiative to reap the seeds of aesthetic appreciation and creative ingenuity
sown in our students. As they wield their pens and paint the canvas with their
vivid creative intellect, we provide yet another platform to them for
showcasing the astounding synergy of the worlds of reality and imagination.
The web of the ordinary and the extraordinary comes to a confluence as our
learners interweave their co-scholastic aptitude with their linguistic prowess
and awareness of the world. We believe in upholding high standards for
commitment towards values and experiential learning in the school, and
keeping the same in mind, myriad opportunities are provided to our students
for grooming them into meritorious achievers in all fields. This magazine is also
an initiative to enable our ever-blossoming parent-community to be apprised
about our endeavours into collaborative learning.

Dear Students and Parents,
As we stride forward with our children, providing a holistic experience of education to
them, we realise the need to bring about academic rigour, co-curricular development,
a healthy emotional and physical state along with awareness of the socio-political
concerns of this contemporary world. We strive to provide a value based environment
to our learners so that they grow with positive ideals and affirmations. Facilitating
their intellectual development, we also focus on their interpersonal skills to ensure
that they are able to experience life in its entirety. Multifarious leadership initiatives
such as Cabinet Body, community service, field visits ensure that their skill-sets are
honed and their potentials developed to the optimum. In the competitive world we
inhabit, it becomes our imperative to provide the best from the society to them in
order to enable them for imbibing the most humane virtue of giving back to the

Teacher’s Day Celebrations

NETFLIX AUDITIONS : A shout out to the Budding Actors

In collaboration with Casting Bay, Mumbai, the school has initiated a remarkable foray
for students interested in the world of theatre and acting. The glorious opportunity will
provide Goenkans the platform to be a participant of one of the most awaited shows to
be released by Netflix India. The first round of auditions for the same were conducted in
the school on 7 August wherein the confident Goenkans aged 12 to 16 years exhibited
their talent and skills by presenting an introduction for further screening. Small steps
like these are important in giving momentum to their journeys ahead.

Speaker of the Year Workshop with
RJ Lucky and Peepal Baba

To promote sensitivity and communication skills amongst students, the school
organised Speaker of The Year workshop with RJ Lucky and Peepal Baba on 22

August 2019. The school's initiative, PROJECT PHULWARI was the

vision guiding these workshops. The famous environmentalist, Peepal Baba
credited for growing around 20 million trees inspired the students by discussing
the positive changes each one of us has the potential to bring about with our
right intentions and right actions. Conservation of nature, as he rightly says, is a
collective responsibility.
