Short Stories- Rayyan Noor Shadows of Abu Dhabi The scorching sun beat down on the busy streets of Abu Dhabi as the city sprung to life. Amidst a crowd of vehicles and pedestrians, one figure moved with determination. He was named Malik; a skilled mercenary known for his precision and stealth. Malik had been hired for a risky mission that involved retrieval of a valuable artifact from an affluent collector who thought it would be safe in his hands. Said to possess magical powers, this rare gem had been hidden away inside an abandoned warehouse on the city’s furthest perimeter. As he made his way through the maze of alleyways, Malik felt observed. Trusting them because they would not let him down, he could hear himself saying that danger was everywhere. Eventually finding his destination, he entered the warehouse with caution. Dust hung in thick air while lighting was poor within. Malik surveyed around cautiously using all his senses trying to detect any motion happening within.
Short Stories- Rayyan Noor Suddenly there appeared several armed guards from nowhere pointing their guns at Malik since they noticed him first before M walked into the room properly prepared for anything potentially bad coming his way. Having springs on both legs, he hid behind crates and used his elite combat abilities to kill them off one by one. Nonetheless, these relentless men got him surrounded sooner than later. Milking through bullets aimed at him and dodging among chaos filled field determined to make towards where he wanted to go. At last, he sighted glittering artifact. He shot off, barely escaping a rain of bullets. He caught the jewel and slipped it into his pocket before deciding he would leave. By the time he reached the door however, a huge blast went off causing fragment to scatter in all directions. After that, Malik fell down with his ears being deafened by bang. Upon regaining his consciousness he saw someone coming out of smoke near him.
Short Stories- Rayyan Noor This person was the one behind this theft; an infamous robber called The Phantom only. With malice aforethought, The Phantom aimed and fired at Malik as if intending to complete what his sentinels had started. However Malik never backed down from challenges easily. Quick as lightning, he pulled out his own gun and shot a lots rounds forcing The phantom to beat a hasty retreat. In the end, through the dust Malik walked out of the wrecked building holding on triumphantly to his newly acquired artifact. This was only one task accomplished because there were always more for him in different dark areas. But he savored that moment now knowing well that again he has shown himself as among the best in business. Determinedly walking away, Abu Dhabi’s streets swallowed him up into its hollows where he resolved to meet all comers.
It was a beautiful day in the WSA, the sun was shining bright and people were getting ready to celebrate their country's diversity and national identity. It was Cultural Day, a day where students celebrate their rich heritage and traditions. The corridors were filled with colorful decorationsand the sound of music and laughter. People from all walks of life gathered in the quad, wearing traditional clothes representing their various ethnicities. As the festivities began, the air was filled with the delicious aroma of traditional dishes. Farah, a young Emirati girl, was excited to be part of the celebrations. She wore a beautiful abaya, the traditional dress of Emirati women, and a shayla (headscarf) with intricate embroidery. She joined her friends, where they were gathered around the stage for the opening ceremony. The Emirati national anthem played, and everyone stood with their hands on their hearts, proudly singing along. Farah's eyes lit up with pride as she looked around and saw people from different nationalities singing along as well, showing their respect and love for the UAE. Short Story Esha Azhar 6A
The Journey Of Rockie The Raindrop AARAV GHOSHDASTIDAR (6A) I flowed smoothly down Thames. I had just passed the source of Thames. It was marked by a pretty big rock. I thought that I was on the outskirts of the city. But what seemed like a minute later, I was in the massive river channel underneath the London bridge. There were huge towns around me and I was really fascinated. Suddenly, I saw a tributary joining in to our river. I could see some of my friends! I had started at the source of river Thames and was going to the North Sea. Along with my friends, we continued our journey. Suddenly, some grassy meadows appeared. It was different from the city, especially because of the less noise. Then I saw a confluence ahead of us. I was so happy! Now the river was as big as it could ever be. I knew we were close to joining the North Sea. I was exhilarated. Suddenly, I saw the drainage basin of our river! Yes! We came closer and closer. We could see the mouth. Suddenly came the drop of the basin and into the Sea we went! The Sun and Clouds came and took us. I was happy to be home but Oh! boy, was the adventure fun!

Poems on UAE History By: Darika Naresh-6A Under the sky, as the day says goodbye, Stars twinkle, a bedtime lullaby. Moonlight paints trees in shadows, so grand, Nature whispers, inviting you to understand. In the quiet night, secrets are shared, A calming breeze, feelings bared. Ponds ripple with a silver glow, Fireflies dance, a magical show. Sleep wraps the world in a gentle hug, Dreams flutter like a cozy rug. As dawn paints the sky in hues so bright, Nature wakes up, a brand new light.
Poems on UAE Culture In the UAE's golden sands, dreams take flight, Where the sun kisses dunes, painting them bright. Skyscrapers pierce the sky, reaching for stars, In this land of wonders, where innovation mars. From ancient traditions to modern delight, UAE's story gleams in the day and the night. Where cultures converge with boundless grace, A nation's spirit shines in every embrace.
In the desert's core, where dreams take flight, The UAE glows with brilliance so bright. Towers ascend like towering palms, In lively cities, with magnetic charms. As pearls in the ocean, cities gleam, With a radiance beyond any dream. Culture and tradition in harmony twine, In this oasis, where destinies align. The sun caresses sands with warmth and grace, As ambitions soar in boundless space. A mosaic spun with tales of yore, In the UAE, dreams reach for more.
