In the year 2000 Gruppo Mezzacorona recognized the unexploited potential
of Sicily and invested in replanting and rebuilding two estates along the ven-
tilated Southern coast of the island. One estate – which is Feudo Arancio’s
headquarters - is in Sambuca di Sicilia in the Agrigento province and accounts
for around 600 acres of land; the other property is in Acate in the province of
Ragusa and accounts for approx. 1500 acres of land. Here we carefully select
single varieties to grow in our pristine sunny vineyards. Native and interna-
tional wine grapes are cared for and controlled by our knowledgeable expert
agronomists of our Group.
