A MESSAGE FROM OUR PASTOR LET US GIVE THANKS TO THE
LORD OUR GOD FOR THOSE
This Sunday marks our national celebration of Mother’s Day. In the United States, it was Julia Ward Howe, the AMONG US:
author of the words to the Battle Hymn of the Republic, who came up with the idea of an International Mother's
Day in 1872. What is interesting to note is that her original objective behind this was not exactly to honor Thank You to all our altar servers
mothers, but rather to celebrate national peace. Likewise another woman, Ann Jarvis, held an annual "Mother's for doing such a good job each
