black swimming cap tied under it’s chin. They can

live up to 20 years.

Gentoo Penguins

Gentoo penguins live in the Artic
Region.

Gentoo penguins eat fish , squid ,
and krill.

They are 30 inches tall. These penguins
weigh up to 18 pounds.

A male Gentoo penguin will build their nest
mostly out of pebbles.

A Gentoo penguin will lay 2 eggs.

King Penguins

They live in the Southern Hemisphere and
the Antarctic region.

They eat squid, shellfish, and fish.

They are as tall as 37 inches.

They weigh up to 38 pounds.

They lay 1 egg. Most animals lay 2 or more. The
King penguin is the second largest penguin
species.

Little Blue Penguins eat very small fish , krill,
and squid.

Little Blue penguins are 16 inches tall
(40 cm).

Little Blue Penguins weigh 2.4 pounds or ( 1.1
kg).

One interesting fact about the female Little Blue
Penguin is that it lays 2 eggs in September and
October . Another fact is they can live to be 15- 20
years old.
