Reception

This is the main entrance
of the school. You will not
use this entrance on a
daily basis. It is for staff
and visitors.

This is a
celebration of
achievements
of both
students and
staff within our
community.

History Wall

This wall marks the journey of Ark Globe Academy.
The history explores the days of predecessor schools,
significant achievements and milestones associated
with the Academy.

Pentagon Building

This is the Pentagon Building. Art, music, dance and
drama take place here. This is also where you will have
your peripatetic music lessons.

Pentagon Building
The Pentagon is also used for assemblies and large
events.

Top pitch and gym container
We have high-tech gym facilities in our fitness
container and a multi-purpose playing service for
sports and extra-curricular activities.

Library

All students in KS3 have one library lesson per week. You
can also loan books and read in the library at your leisure
before and after school or during break and lunch times.

Student Services

This is where
students go for
general enquiries
and non-academic
support. First aid
is administered in
Student Services
when required.

Globe Growth Board

Globe Growth is
a measure of
student growth
mindset.
This reflects
students’
attitude and
effort in key
areas that are
crucial for
success.

Commons

This is the communal
space where hot food is
served and consumed
indoors. This space can
be used for other large
events at times.

Sports Hall

This is where indoors sports and PE take place. We
also have extra-curricular clubs at lunch and after
school.

Playground
This is where students have opportunity to
socialise and interact at breaks and lunch.
