` A BO U T FR A G R A N C E S


All Federico Mahora fragrances are genuine FM WORLD fragrances . They are
made in Perfand near Wrocław, with which FM WORLD has been working from
the very beginning of the existence of the company. A team of qualified specialists

with long experience in the perfume industry ensures the quality of the fragrances.


` F RA G RA N C E

Fragrance determines the amount of fragrance composition in a product, and
at the same time assigns it to the appropriate group (perfume, eaux de parfum,

eaux de toilette, etc.). As a standard, FM WORLD offer includes two types of
perfume products: perfumes for her and for him (with 20% of fragrance) and eau
de parfum (with 16% of fragrance). Some fragrances for her and most for him in
the Luxury Collection are available as eau de parfum. Selected fragrances in the

PURE line are also available in the INTENSE version with higher fragrance content:
perfumes for him with 24% of fragrance and perfumes for her with as much as
30% of fragrance. Fragrances in the Youth Collection are eaux de toilette.


` F R A G R A N C E FA M I L I E S


All Federico Mahora fragrances have been assigned to appropriate fragrance
(olfactoric) families in accordance with the best perfume practice. Federico
Mahora fragrance enthusiasts can choose from among energising and fresh
citrus, sensual chypre, intense and enveloping oriental, light water, elegant woody,

masculine fougère, and very feminine floral fragrances.

F LO R A L

The floral fragrance family is the largest and most diverse group of scents. It
is the essence of femininity expressed in fragrant roses, peony, jasmine oils,

combined with the freshness of fruits or intensity of exotic spices. The floral
fragrances family is divided into seven sub-families: floral-fruit, floral-oriental,
floral-water, floral-green, floral-aldehyde, floral-citrus and floral-woody.




O R I E N TA L

Oriental scents are sensual and seductive. These are compositions with

warm and exotic notes. They contain sweet notes of vanilla, spicy aromas
of cardamom, cinnamon and clear accents of incense and ambergris. The
oriental group includes a few subgroups, including: floral, fruity, spicy and
woody.




C H Y PR E

Unique woody compositions, herb-soil patchouli aroma, aromatic bergamot

oil castoreum or cedar oil, these notes pump in the heart of chypre
fragrances. The name of the group comes from the French name for Cyprus.
Fragrances in this group have been divided into subfamilies: chypre-fruit,

chypre-woody, chypre-oriental and chypre-floral.




CI T R U S

Fresh and juicy fruits – lime, lemon, orange and bergamot – create an
extremely refreshing citrus group, providing invigorating experience and an
incredible energy boost. Initially the fragrances from this group were created

mainly for men but the group is now considered universal. Depending on
the composition formula, the citrus fruit family is divided into four subgroups:
lemon, mandarin, orange and floral .

W O O D Y

Warm and rich notes of sandalwood and guaiacum, patchouli oils, combined
with a bit raw, yet refined aromas of cedar and vetiver create an elegant and

sophisticated group of woody fragrances. The group of woody fragrances
is divided into a few subfamilies: floral, fruity and oriental.




FO U G ÈR E

Fern and lavender complemented by oak moss, fresh herbs or coumarin,
create an intriguing family of fougère fragrances . Its name is derived from

French and means “fern”. The history of this group dates back to the 19th
century – it was then that the most well-known fragrance composition in this
group was created: Fougère Royale. Due to its composition, this group is
divided into subgroups dependent on the dominant note: lavender or fern.




W A T E R

The group of water scents is one of the youngest fragrance families. Cool,

invigorating notes of sea breeze, water flowers and grasses, complemented
by hints of green or metallic are dominant in this family.
