DON’T READ

We the people of India never seem to follow the rules even if they are written in
BLACK or WHITE!
For example: -
Somewhere on road it is written “NO PARKING”, even then we stand to disturb
the public by parking our vehicles there!
Sometimes when we see a RED signal, instead of stopping our vehicles, we take
extreme pleasure in increasing the vehicle’s speed and jumping the signal,
although it is considered a crime!
Now take yourself as an example. At the top it is clearly written in bold letters
“DON’T READ”, but still … you are reading this!

Sharavathi, a river which rises at Ambutirtha, next to Nonabur, in
the Thirthahalli taluk and takes the northwesterly course by Fatte petta,
receives the Haridravati on the right below Pattaguppe and the Yenne Hole on
the left above Barangi. On arriving at the frontier, it bends to the west,
precipitates itself down the Falls of Gersoppa, and passes that village (properly
Geru-Sappe), which is some 30 kilometres (19 mi) distant, discharging into the
Arabian sea at Honnavar in Uttara Kannada.
The Sharavati, flowing over a very rocky bed about 250 yards (230 m) wide,
here reaches a tremendous chasm, 290 m (950 ft) deep, and the water comes
down in four distinct falls. The Raja Fall pours in one unbroken column sheer to
the depth of 250 m (830 ft). Halfway down it is encountered by the Roarer,
another fall, which precipitates itself into a vast cup and then rushes violently
downwards at an angle of forty-five degrees to meet the Raja. A third fall, the
Rocket, shoots downwards in a series of jets; while the fourth, the Rani, moves
quietly over the mountainside in a sheet of foam. The Tourism Department has
built steps from the viewpoint to the bottom of the hill where the waterfall can
be seen at the opposite side. There are approximately 1400 steps built to reach
the bottom of the hill.

The highest waterfall in the world, the cataract drops 3,212 feet (979 metres)
and is 500 feet (150 metres) wide at the base. It leaps from a flat-topped
plateau, Auyán-Tepuí (“Devils Mountain”), barely making contact with the
sheer face. The falls are located in Canaima National Park, and, because of the
dense jungle surrounding the falls, they are best seen from the air. The falls,
first sighted by outsiders in the 1930s, were named for James Angel, an
American adventurer who crash-landed his plane on a nearby mesa in 1937. In
late 2009 Venezuelan Pres. Hugo Chávez declared that the falls should be
referred to as Kerepakupai Merú, an indigenous name.

Technology

When we look around us we see a huge number of examples of technology. The
mobile phone in our hands, the headphones we wear for listening to music, the
microwave we use to heat our food ,and even the construction of buildings we
live in—all use some or the other type of technology. Technology is so
important in today’s world that it is almost impossible to imagine a life without
it. Could you imagine what you would do if you weren’t able to watch television
every once? Or what would you do if you were unable to talk to your
grandmother who lives away from you on the phone for some time. Not having
technology in our lives would make us feel like something is missing. Yes that’s
how big a role technology plays in our lives if we think deeply about it. The
knowledge with science implemented for practical use is technology.
Technology has completely changed the world and our daily life to a significant
extent. Things, which were not possible a few years ago, have become common
now. The invention of wheel, spears and stone tools were the most significant
development in stone age era. From a simple watch to super computers the
technology has surrounded us in our daily life.

Poem on corona

Corona, corona go away,
You need to go far away.
We need to play in the grounds,
Stopped due to corona around.
If we always travel,
We will face hell.
Life is a short span of file,
But corona travels for mile.
We thought that you are for a while,
But you are for ever.
Our ideas in a room are confined,
But your symptoms are well defined.

hats off to corona warriors,
doctors and polices are the barriers for us.
