Maria Amelia E. Wilson (Amy) joins American Cyber as the On-Boarding Administrator of the
PEO-EIS Integrated Personnel Pay System (IPPS-A). Prior to joining IPPS-A, Amy served as the
Office/Human Resources Manager/Facility Security Officer for Commonwealth Trading Part-
ners. Receiving her degree in Management from the American Public University, Amy has
always had a love for overseeing the management and administrative duties of work within the
office. Her passion for organizing office operations and procedures and for maintaining effec-
tive office processes, has allowed Amy to make her environment and fellow employees a better
and more successful workplace.

Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Amy moved to Los Angeles in 1989. She now resides

John Dwyier Joining American Cyber as a Capture Analyst, John Dwyier has extensive experience in secure
Capture Analyst communications. He has supported and/or managed IT technology programs since the early
90s and has been lucky enough to manage teams ranging in small sizes all the way up to
programs with hundreds of employees. With over 35 years of experience, John has a diverse
portfolio varying from teaching computers with the Army to expanding technical skills at
organizations such as the Network Operations Center at the Defense Intelligence Agency
(DIA). John is excited to work at American Cyber in a Business Development roll, and he looks
forward to growing with the company.

John has a wonderful family comprised of his wife, two young adult children and of course
the family dog. His hobbies include travel, photography, canning and motorcycling.

Patricia (Trish) Smith Patricia (Trish) Smith joins American Cyber as an Accounting Specialist based in Northern
Accounting Specialist Virginia. For the past ten years, she has worked in the private sector as an Accounts Manager.
Prior to that she spent 20 years working in the Intelligence Community, at both the National
Security Agency and Central Intelligence Agency. Trish started her federal career as a clerical
assistant and by taking advantage of advancement programs offered in both Accounting and
Computer Science, worked her way to Contract Officer’s Technical Representative. Trish holds
a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland University College in Computer &
Information Sciences.
Trish has been married to Ray Smith for as long as she can remember and they have a 16-year-
old daughter, Erin, and a 3-year-old mutt, Maggie, who is part Shih Tzu and part sneaky
neighbor’s dog. In her spare time, Trish enjoys reading, going to the movies and just relaxing
with her family.

Celebrating Summer the American Cyber Way

On July 30, Gary and Laurie Winkler,
President and CEO of American Cy-
ber, hosted American Cyber’s Annual
Summer Social. The event took place
at the Winkler’s residence where
nearly 50 American Cyber employees
attended.

The social provided an appetizing ar- American Cyber’s customized Cornhole Toss. Guests had a blast taking
ray of food as well as drinks. To make their try at the game!
