SOCSO Health Screening Program
SEHATi Perkeso The SOCSO Health Screening Program (HSP) is a free health screening which aims to identify high risk group for Non- Communicable Diseases among eligible SOCSO insured person There are rising numbers of workers who are unable to work due lifestyle diseases. The health screening program helps workers to identify their health status.They can then seek proper treatment to avoid illness and complications. Companies can then retain these experienced workers and increase productivity. This creates a vibrant business environment and stimulated the economy
WHAT IS SOCSO’S HEALTH SCREENING PROGRAM ? The SOCSO Health Screening Program (HSP) is an incentive provided by SOCSO with the purpose of promoting healthy lifestyles and identifying high risk groups of workers with non-communicable diseases. Through this program, free health screening is offered to workers to create health screening awareness among workers for early detection of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). HSP was first introduced by SOCSO in 2013. By 2022, more than 600,000 workers have undergone health screening under HSP. In 2023, SOCSO has launched HSP 3.0 to allow employees to know more about their health status especially after COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to existing HSP, new parameters are added into HSP 3.0 for early detection of more NCDs.
WHAT IS OBJECTIVE OF HEALTHSCREENING PROGRAM ? To create NCDs awareness among employees and to promote healthy lifestyle Early detection of the non-communicable disease To prevent disability and premature death due to NCDs To prevent loss of income due to disability caused by NCDs To improve human capital resources and the nation’s economy and productivity.
ELIGIBILITY Malaysian Aged between 40 and 59 years old; An active SOCSO contributor under the Invalidity Scheme (has at least one (1) month of contribution in the current year) Has at least 12 months of total contributions under the Invalidity Scheme.

PROCESS? Company to appoint Klinik Perubatan Primakasih Jitra for the free SEHATi Health Screening program. Worker register as a user on the SEHATi app to check their eligiblity. Klinik Perubatan Primakasih Jitra outreach team proceed with medical check-up during scheduled appointment date. Planned for a second visit to explain the result and referrals to tertiary center if needed.
