Foreword GI
Reading and Writing Readiness Activity workbook is
designed on basis of the latest advanced pre-primary level
curriculum. The three levels of Activity workbooks reinforce
the minimum information to be acquired from the very
beginning of the child's learning age.
There is no any other ability more essential to a child for
success than reading and writing. The simple examples,
instructions and practices provided in this book help the
child to learn, to read and to write quickly.
Besides the lessons in the book, the child can benefit
more from other hands-on practical exercises also. So it is
essential that parents/guardians create proper environment
in which the child can have ample exposure to reality
especially for those who learn fast through the medium of
practical exercises by exploring the environment, in other
words, through learning by doing.
The exercises provided in the book enhance the child's
language ability as well as cognitive skills. The varieties of
exercises are so designed that learning becomes more
joyful, funful, meaningful and child-friendly.
I have made my utmost effort to design the book in such
a way that the child can reap maximum benefit. However,
if there are any suggestions or feedback, I would be most
delighted to receive them and improve accordingly in
further editions.
