We will use the same coaches for the entire trip. Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner included Hotel: Changsha Ramada Hotel★★★★★ Day 2 11 Nov 2019 In the morning: Take the tour coaches to Zhangjiajie (4.5 hours coach ride). In the afternoon: Travel to Tianmen Mountain which is 15 minutes coach ride from the restaurant. We will spend 4 hours at this scenic area. To ascend the mountain, we will take the longest cable car (7.5 KM) in the world. (35 minutes cable car ride). On the mountain, we will explore the cliffs and experience the longest escalator ride as we descend the mountain. In the afternoon:Visit the Junsheng Sandstone Museum where you will get to explore a new type of painting made of stone and sand. You can even smell the aroma of the sand and stone. The painter will teach you how to paint on the spot and hands on activities will be carried out. This is the place where the movie Avatar was shot. Here, we will take Bailong Lift to Avatar Mountain where the National forest park is located. This is the highlight of the Zhang JiaJie Mountain. Take the cable car to descend the mountain. Take the coaches to the Zhang JiaJie Glass Bridge (1 hour in the scenic area) (30 minutes coach ride). OEP Zhangjiajie| G10 (AY2019-2020) 7 Day 5 14 Nov 2019 In the morning: Take the coaches to the Yellow Dragon Cave (1.5 hours in the cave) (20 minutes coach ride). It is a karst cave and is one of the most famous caves in China. After that, travel to the Heavenly Lake (1.5 hours time in the lake) (10 minutes coach ride) Here, you will find a beautiful lake located on the top of the mountain. Take the tour coaches back to Changsha(4.5 hours coach ride) In the evening: Walk around the Huang Xing Road Shopping Street for some last minute shopping. This is the biggest shopping street in Asia. Here you can do shopping, appreciate the Chinese culture, eat snacks and buy souvenirs. Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner included Hotel: Changsha Ramada Hotel★★★★★ Day 6 15 Nov 2019 In the morning: Pay a visit to Yuelu Academy (1 hour coach ride). Yuelu Academy is one of the most ancient universities in the world which was established in 976 AD. It is over a thousand years old. You will also get to see the Yuelu Mountain which has been termed as the natural “oxygen bar” in Changsha. About 30% of the oxygen is from the mountain. Staying in the mountain makes you feel refreshed. We will also visit the Aiwan Pavilion which is one of the most famous pavilions in China. It is also a renowned maple appreciation destination in China. In Autumn, the maple leaves turn red and the scenery is spectacular and colourful.

It is a romantic island with fresh air, sunshine and green landscapes. In the afternoon: Visit the Hunan Provincial Museum (2 hours for a visit) (30 minutes coach ride) It is the Eighth wonder of the world. In the museum, you will appreciate a variety of the Han Dynasty relics and antiques. Here you will be able to see an ancient female corpse who is 2100 years old. Next, we will visit the lightest silk coat exhibit which weighs 49 grams. Take the tour coaches to Changsha airport (30minutes coach ride) then take the international flight from Changsha to Bangkok. OEP Zhangjiajie| G10 (AY2019-2020) 10 Zhangjiajie in brief Zhangjiajie is a prefecture-level city located in the north western part of Hunan Province. Lying at the very center of China, Zhangjiajie is an idea place for any traveller looking for some natural sceneries of grandiose beauty. The city, ranked on UNESCO World Heritage Sites list is famous for its Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Zhangjiajie comprises two districts (Yongding and Wulingyuan) and two counties (Cili and Sangzhi) and has many wonderful scenic spots such as Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (especially Yuanjiajie and Huangshizhai), Suoxiyu Nature Reserve, Tianzishan Nature Reserve, Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and Yangjiajie Scenic Area. It enjoys a monsoon humid semi-tropical climate which explains why lush vegetation are found here. There are many karst upthrusts, waterfalls, limestone caves and rivers where hundreds of rare flora and fauna species live together. This makes it a delight for botanists or lovers of natural sightseeing to visit. The place is also home to some ethnic minorities such as the Tujia, Miao and Bai who still live in a traditional way.
