vegatables as we had creating the kit.

Simply Plant is family owned and run business based in
Cheshire.My name is Chris Valentine and with my wife Kate
and 3 children - Thomas, Dylan and Beth we make up the
Simply Plant family. We all play our parts in creating each
kit,

When our company was founded in 2018, the goal was not
only to make the best quality, fun and value for money
“make your own” kits but to build something special
that all of our family enjoys doing together.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

STEP BY STEP

Please refer to the seeds included pages in this information
booklet for the recomended time of year to sow each
variety.

Once the time has come to sow the seeds you have chosen
the rst step is to submerge one compost disc into a bowl
of water and allow it to expand to around six times its
original size, Squeeze out any excess water from the disk,

Break apart the disk and place into one of the pots
provided. then sow the seeds and cover with a thin layer of
compost.Please nsure the compost remains moist but not
too wet.

When the seeds start to sprout and are large enough to
handle the next step is to transplant them

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Watering: The most important point to remember is not to
over water the plants, Check the soil daily to ensure it is
moist.

Sowing: Sowing is the process of planting. An area or
object that has had seeds planted in it will be described
as a sowed area.

Propogation: Propagating seeds in the pots provided
result in a more e cient vegetable as plants are protected
from pests in their early stages of growth

Transplanting: Transplanting or replanting is the
technique of moving a plant from one location to another.
Make sure you handle the seedlings by their leaves to
avoid damaging the tender stems. Poke a hole in the new
container's planting mix, place the seedling in the hole,
and rm soil around it. Water the transplant right away.
Keep the containers out of direct sunlight for a few days
to let the transplants recover from the move
