Life As Amayrani Barriga

My Birth

I was born in Torrance memorial
at 1:53 am. After I was born my
mom wanted my older brother to
meet me so they told him my
mom had just had another little
girl but instead of being happy
he broke down in tears thinking
they were replacing him and they
still laugh at him for it today.

The First Time I Moved to A New House

When I was three years old
my mom and dad found the
best house in the
neighborhood and they
decided to buy it I was very
happy because I was told I
would get my own room so I
wouldn’t have to share one
with my brother and we still
live in that house today.

My First Day Of Preschool

When I was four years old I had to start

preschool and I didn’t want to go so when my

mom brought me to the front of the door I pre-school

started bawling and I wouldn’t let go of her leg

so my mom had to sit in class with me half the

day and then after they made us take a nap

she left but I still didn’t like it so when it was

time to go outside to play I made friend and we

are still good friends today but when it was

time to get picked up I didn’t want to leave so

when she got there I was mad that she had left

but it was a good year for me overall.

The Day I Got My Dog

One day my mom was scrolling through chloe
her phone when she got a text from an
uncle asking her if she wanted a dog
and she was really happy because he
had a new breed and she was dying to
get a puppy so he sent her a picture
and he said he would come to visit the
next weekend and he would bring her
with him so we were all excited and
then he arrived and when he opened
the door she came out and started
running around and jumping on us and
now she still lives with us right now.

Amayrani barriga lives in Carson
ca with her mom, dad, and
brother she enjoys playing with
her dog and riding her she plans
to attend narbone high school
and then the institute of
technology. She plans to work
for nasa in her future and
building robots.
