BWI offers the following Limited Warranty on exterior door units produced by BWI after September 1st 2003:

Terms and Conditions of the BWI Limited Warranty:

BWI warrants, subject to the terms and conditions below, that all components of its exterior door units including
slab, sills, frames and brick mould casing to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under
normal conditions and use for the following periods from the date of delivery by BWI to BWI’s customer or the
date of installation, provided that the installation occurs within 30 days of such delivery.

Oak Craft Fiberglass Door Units – 25 years
Barrington Fiberglass Door Units – Limited Lifetime

This limited warranty does not cover:

• Warp in plane of door less than ¼ “
• Natural wood characteristics such as, but not limited to, mineral streaks, small knots, grain, texture, color,
and tone variations
• Natural expansion and contraction during seasonal and temperature changes, air conditioning or heating
influences
• Differences between samples or photographs and the actual door unit
• Indentations, scratches or similar surface damage caused by negligence, lack of protection, improper main-tenance,
normal use, abrasives, insuf cient protection, pets or other conditions beyond our reasonable control.
• Improper delivery by anyone other than BWI, improper storage, improper installation, improper or unau-
thorized repair, improper maintenance, improper protection, improper care, abuse, water, moisture, insects, animals,

and any other condition beyond our reasonable control
• Excessive or inadequate humidity in the area or excessive change in ambient temperature.
• Accidents, man-made or natural, including but not limited to leaking or broken plumbing, frie, fol od, earth-
quake or other casualty before, during or after installation
• Settling of the building
• Any other condition, circumstance, event or conduct beyond our control
• Anyone other than the original retail consumer purchaser of the product
• Purchasers for resale of door units
• Any defect that was observable before installation
• Any improper job site condition or any inappropriate or improperly prepared framing, sill, supporting or
adjacent area of the door unit
• Installation of door units outside the continental United States
• Damage caused by the absence of a safe, secure or dry place for the storage or the installation of the door
unit (provide at least a four-inch air space under and around the door unit during storage)
• Damage caused by anyone other than BWI repairing or altering the door unit
• Damage caused by failure to comply strictly with installation and fni ishing instructions
• Damage caused by failure to perform yearly inspections and maintenance

BWI offers the following Limited Warranty on interior door units produced by BWI after March 1, 2011:

Terms and Conditions of the BWI Limited Warranty:

BWI warrants, subject to the terms and conditions below, that all door slabs in interior door units to be free from manufacturing
defects in material and workmanship under normal conditions and use for the following periods from the date of delivery by BWI to
BWI’s customer or the date of installation, provided that the installation occurs within 30 days of such delivery.

Masonite Hollow Core- 1 Year
Masonite Solid Core- 5 Year
Masonite Stile & Rail Wood Doors- 1Year

All door and frame components must be finished and maintained in the strictest conformity with the installation and finishing
instructions provided with the product.

All door units must be fully installed and finished immediately upon installation.

EXCLUSIONS [Read Carefully]

This limited warranty does not cover:
•Warp in plane of door less than ¼ “
•Natural wood characteristics such as, but not limited to, mineral streaks, small knots, grain, texture, color, and tone variations
•Natural expansion and contraction during seasonal and temperature changes, air conditioning or heating influences
•Differences between samples or photographs and the actual door unit
•Indentations, scratches or similar surface damage caused by negligence, lack of protection, improper maintenance, normal use,
abrasives, insufficient protection, pets or other conditions beyond our reasonable control.
•Improper delivery by anyone other than BWI, improper storage, improper installation, improper or unauthorized repair,
improper maintenance, improper protection, improper care, abuse, water, moisture, insects, animals, and any other condition
beyond our reasonable control
•Excessive or inadequate humidity in the area or excessive change in ambient temperature.
•Accidents, man-made or natural, including but not limited to leaking or broken plumbing, fire, flood, earthquake or other
casualty before, during or after installation
•Settling of the building
•Any other condition, circumstance, event or conduct beyond our control
•Anyone other than the original retail consumer purchaser of the product
•Purchasers for resale of door units
•Any defect that was observable before installation
•Any improper job site condition or any inappropriate or improperly prepared framing, sill, supporting or adjacent area of the
door unit
•Installation of door units outside the continental United States
•Damage caused by the absence of a safe, secure or dry place for the storage or the installation of the door unit
(provide at least a four-inch air space under and around the door unit during storage)
•Damage caused by anyone other than BWI repairing or altering the door unit
•Damage caused by failure to comply strictly with installation and finishing instructions
•Damage caused by failure to perform yearly inspections and maintenance

age; or (6) a failure to follow any applicable installation, care or maintenance instructions.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND
MERCHANTABILITY. MOREOVER, IN NO EVENT WILL MASONITE BE LIABLE FOR
SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights. Other rights vary from state to state and may apply to you. Some states and federal laws
do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. In the event these laws apply, then the length of any
implied warranty shall be one (1) year or the shortest time in excess of one year permitted under
applicable law. Similarly, some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential dam-
ages and, if applicable, this limitation will not apply.

If a defect occurs, Masonite, at its sole option, will furnish a replacement door, repair the door or
refund the original purchase price. MASONITE’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO
THE AMOUNT OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE. MASONITE WILL NOT PAY THE
COSTS OF LABOR, INSTALLATION OR FINISHING FOR ANY REPLACEMENT DOOR.
No representative of Masonite or any other person has any authority whatsoever to assume for
Masonite any other liability or responsibility in connection with the door warranted herein.

If you have a warranty claim, please notify your Masonite Dealer. Include in the notice the following
information:

A. description of door;
B. name and address of owner and installer;
C. proof of sale; and
D. detailed explanation of defect.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

For Masonite Specialty Glass

Warranty Coverage
In order to validate your warranty, all frames must be finished
in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. Subject to the conditions, exclusions and limitations stated herein, Specialty Building
Products warrants that its product is free from any defects in material and workmanship that renders
its product unfit for its normal and recommended use. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the glass purchased directly from
Specialty Building Products. This warranty is not transferable or assignable. The period of warranty shall begin as of the date of purchase by the
customer and shall extend for the products respective warranty period.

Exclusion
This warranty does not cover any of the following:

1. Any defects or damages arising out of and/or
caused during shipment by common carriers, private transportation, or any other means of transportation.

2. Any defects or damages arising out of improper maintenance, installation, handling, cleaning,
finishing, glazing, misuses, abuse, acts of God, accidents, and/or any other circumstances beyond
the control of Specialty Building Products.

3. Any product installed in, or submitted to high heat conditions, high moisture conditions, high vibration, and/or extreme temperature
changes, or painted a dark color or installed behind a screen door. Products with Centurion frames can be: submitted to high heat
conditions, painted a dark color, installed behind a screen door.

4. Labor, shipping, or other charges incurred
or claimed by the customer.

Inspection and Discovery of Defect
It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the product immediately upon receipt of shipment. If a defect covered under this warranty is
discovered upon such inspection, the customer shall immediately file a claim in accordance with the proper procedure as set forth below.
Specialty
Building Products shall have no obligation with respect
to any defect reasonably discoverable upon immediate inspection, when such defective product is installed (or otherwise used) prior to properly
filing a claim. If a defect is discovered after receipt of shipment but within the products warranty period, the customer shall immediately file a
claim in accordance with the proper procedures as set forth below.

Warranty Claim Procedures
The customer must comply with the following procedures to make a proper claim under this warranty:

1. The customer must present a written claim to Specialty Building Products within 30 days after discovering a defect. The written claim
must be received within the products warranty period.

2. The customer must provide the following information in its written claim.
a) adequate description of the claimed defect(s);
b) identification of product design or pattern;
c) date of purchase, place of purchase, purchase price, and date of delivery to customer.

3. The customer must, if requested by Specialty Building Products, permit Specialty or its representative to inspect the product or if
requested return product freight prepaid for inspection.

Remedies

1. After receiving a valid claim, Specialty
Building Products has the option to
a) repair the product or
b) provide a replacement product (or part, as appropriate) of like kind and design.

2. Replacement of the insulated glass component of the product will result in the following charge to the customer based on a percentage of
Specialty Building Products then current wholesale price for a comparable product. Period after Purchase Amount of Charge to Customer 0 - 5

6 - 8 years 25%
9 - 10 years 50%

3. If Specialty Building Products elects to provide a replacement product, the limited warranty on the
replacement product will last for the balance of the warranty on the original product. If the customer fails to provide a satisfactory proof of the date of
purchase, the date such product was manufactured shall be used.
Disclaimer of Warranty
Specialty Building Products makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise, with respect
to its product (or any other replacement product), including
any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except to the extent provided herein.

Limitation of Remedies
The remedies set forth above are the customer’s exclusive remedies for breach of warranty or negligence. In no case shall Specialty Building Products
be liable to the customer or any other person for any general, incidental, or consequential damages.

UNLESS MODIFIED IN WRITING SIGNED BY BOTH SPECIALTY BUILDING PRODUCTS AND THE CUSTOMER, THIS WARRANTY IS THE
COMPLETE
AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY RELATED TO THE PRODUCT, AND IT SUPERSEDES ALL EARLIER AGREEMENTS. NO EMPLOYEES OF
SPECIALTY BUILDING PRODUCTS AND OR ANY OTHER PARTY IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY ADDITIONAL WARRANTY.
INVALIDATION OF ANY ONE OR MORE OF
THE PROVISIONS OF THIS WARRANTY
SHALL NOT INVALIDATE OR EFFECT ON
ANY OF THE OTHER PROVISIONS.

HANDLING AND FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS

The following instruction must be followed or the warranty will be void.

All doors require sanding before being finished. All dust must be removed before
finishing. Minor glue marks can and should be removed and sanded clean. These are
not considered a defect.
Lemieux Doors Inc. is not responsible for natural characteristics in grain patterns,
shading or color differences in any wood species. All doors must be stored flat in a
climate controlled environment on the jobsite.
Any door with noticeable defects must be rejected prior to finishing. Slight seasonal
shrinkage and/or swelling is very common. A minimum of 60 days (to acclimate)
is required before credit can be given.
Lemieux does not recommend staining or painting any product that has exposure to
direct sunlight a dark color.
ALL DOORS MUST BE SEALED WITHIN 72 HOURS OF ARRIVING ON A JOBSITE.
All exterior products must be protected by a substantial overhang. Place all products in a
low risk environment, including and not excluding a sufficient overhang. Adequate
overhang is determined as one half the distance from the bottom of the door to the
bottom of where the overhang begins.
Lemieux is NOT responsible for any re-hanging or refinishing charges.

IF YOU PAINT
Use an Oil based primer and finish paint. If the door is pre-primed by Lemieux, use
two coats of an Oil based finish paint. You must seal all six sides. If the top and/or
bottom of the door is not completely sealed the warranty will be void.
IF YOU STAIN
Use an Oil based stain. If you do not use an oil based stain, then you must use a pre-stain
conditioner or sanding sealer. Do not use a 3-in-1 stain that penetrates, stains and seals.

Stain all six sides. Once staining is complete, seal all six sides (twice) with a Spar Varnish
or Spar Urethane. If you do not seal all six sides the warranty will be void.

PATTERN GLASS

If the product has patterned glass and if the pattern is facing to the exterior (outside
the home) you must place a cap bead of clear Silicone around the perimeter of the
glass or the warranty is void.
YOU MUST

Make sure that there are NO gaps where th e panels meet the stiles and rails. Lap the
paint or Spar Varnish onto the glass 1/16 of an inch. If you do not lap the paint or
Varnish, you must put a cap bead of clear S ilicone around the perimeter of the glass.
Any door placed in a high risk environment must have a clear Silicone cap bead around
the perimeter of the glass on the exterior side of the product.

ALL DOORS MUST BE SEALED ALL SIX SIDES OR THE WARRANTY IS VOID!
