PURCHASES.-T1e Society purchases Reversions and RemainderR, whether absolute or contingent; Life Interests,

whether in possession or deferred, and generally all Interests (in approved property) that depend upon the duration

-of human life.
LOANS.-The Sodety also grants Loans on the security of such Interests, either on ordinary Mortgage or by way

of Reversionary Oha~e. The latter mode meets the convenience of borrowers who do not wish to make any payment
for either principal •r interest until their Reversionary Property falls into possession. The amount to which the
Society will then be c.titled is fixed at the outset, and does not depend on the time elapsing between the grant of the
Loan and its repaymmt. The option of redeeming the Char~e during the first three or five years can usually be
-combined with this fcrm of Loan.

LIFE ANNUITIESare granted by the Society in exchange for Reversions and other Interests, and also in considf!'»a·
tion for ReversionarJCharges payable when the property falls into possession. In this way a reversioner can secure
a fixed income aud auid the trouble and e:rpense of obtaining successive loans.

The operations ofthe Society not only enable future expectatiOns to oe turned into present cash on fair terms, but

contingent interests vhich may never come into possession at all are also ma.de available for immediate uses.

The Board of Diectors meet on Wednesdays at Fonr o'clock, to consider proposals-forms for which and full

information can be 01tained at the Society's Offices-but immediate consideration will be given to busines3 where

·dispatch is of importmce. (32) W. OSCAR NASH, F.LA.., Actuary and Secretary.

Used in Her Majesty's Cavalry Regiments, patronised by Major-General
Sir Charles Dalbiac, Inspector-General of the Cavalry Forces, and
highly eulogised by Professor Coleman, of the Veterinary College,

London, in his report to the Adjutant-General.

Its great efficacy in all cases where blistering is usually applied is well known, and its celebrity has extended to
all the great studs throughout the world.

NO HORSE 'W'ILL KNA'W' J:T.

You may turn your horse to grass, or in a loose box or yard immediately after the application, without a. cradle
or other restraint. It will never blemish. The hair returns in ten days. It may be used to a Foal, however young.
It will not touch the human hand. The horse may continue its accustomed labour.

SIXTY-Two years of success in England, and FoRTY-SIX in France and other countries, have fully justified and
established the reputation of the Ointment, bearing witness to its efficacy and superiority over every other kind of blister.

LETTERS AND TESTIMONIALS FROM PERSONS WHO HAVE USED THE BLISTER OINTMENT.

The Kennels, Heythrop, September 21st, 1854.

DEAR SIR,-! look upon your :Blister Ointment as the most valuable preparation for the following: Curbs, Spavin, Sprained Tendons,
Thorough Pins, &c. I have used it for Horse and Hound for some years and always keep a supply.

J. HILLS, Huntsman, The Heythrop."

« Whiston Cross, Shifnal, June2nd, 1887.

SIR,-! duly receiv€d yours some time ago, also four pots of your Blister, and for which I beg to thank you; and I am pleased to

tell you that I have used your Blister for twenty-one years. The huntsman that I lived with in Fifeshire in 1866 and 1867 never used

any other, and have seen horses fired and afterwards blistered with Lieutenant James's Blister and never knew one to gnaw it or blemish

himself, although turned loose immediately after. I also nse it to blister hounds. JOHN SCOTT, Huntsman, The Albrighton."
