is the most important of these, and it happens also to
be very sensitive to contamination.

A wide margin of safety has therefore always been
our principle in manufacturing it. First, through-
out the whole of our processes we use exclusively
vessels made of Gold and Platinum. Secondly, all
our first crystals are twice redissolved and recrystal-

lised. Thirdly, every batch of final crystals is tested
before passing into our stock.

Our guarantee of highest purity is thus assured.

•6 Lanzone Lanolin

m The Odourless Adeps Lanae, B.P, Manufactured by
m
m THE LONDON PHARMACEUTICAL REFINERS, LIMITED,
m iMartin's Yard, Endwell Road - LONDON, S.E. 4.

&m —In a leading article in the "Medical Press" of June 26, 1918, occurs the following:

m "I hope that the same effort will be made to abolish Hun drugs as to get rid of Hun dyes. In one direction I am glad
1 to find that this is being seriouBly attempted. One of the most important bases for ointments is lanoline. Now the

mEnglish lanoline which is made by the London Pharmaceutical Refiners. Limited, of Brockley, has the merit of being
superior to the old German lanoline. The B.P. allowance of fatty acids is '7, whereas this new English lanoline shows

only '27. The new preparation is quite odourless, and acid fats do not develop in it by keeping. These are great

merits, and show the extreme care with which the refining process has been carried out by the British refiners."
