m Prior to the war Ichthyol secured a permanent place as an adjunct to treatment in
various skin conditions, etc., and also other indications. It was, however, all of
foreign origin, and during and since the war when supplies became exhausted
synthetic products were prepared as substitutes.

Collosol Ichthyol, however, is the natural preparation of the distilhation of various
fossilized marine deposits in British oil shale.

Collosol Ichthyol is a particularly pure specimen of the drug, and it is possible to

supply this at a price quite comparable to the many synthetic Ichthyols now offered.
