Corbyn's Lanolin is almost inodorous, pale in colour, and
answers all the requirements of the British Pharmacopoeia.

Corbyn, Stacey and Co., Ltd.. London, are offering Lanolin made by special plant erected in their factories for
this purpose, to take the place of what was previously imported from Germany. They advise us that it consists of
purified cSolesterin fat. obtained from sheep's wool, which contains 45 per cent, of its weight of this substance, and is
extracted by repeated washings. The crude wool-fat has then to be submitted to numerous purifying processes, and
finally emerges as Lanolin, or Adeps Lanae B.P. It answers all B. P. requirements, is almost inodorous, and is
pale in colour. Pharmaceutical Journal, June 24, 1916.
