KK Port Offshore Gateway Prior to May 2021, All the offshore operators were doing checks and registrations for their offshore workers at their hotel lobby's before proceeding to KK Port for embarkation. The Sabah Port Marine Unit proposed to consolidate all the operations for all clients done in one designated place which is now known and named KK Port -Offshore gateway .

A proper enclosed building for all the operations to be done with ease 2. Registration counters and baggage checking facilities 3. A briefing Area for all the offshore workers to be briefed before embarking offshore 4. An arrival area for arriving offshore workers to register themselves with the Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Sabah (JKNS) QR code. 5. A facility which is always complying to Covid 19 prevention practices for safe operations 12
