We are so proud of this improvement.

HOUSE HIGHLIGHTS

At first glance, you would think our logo is a smiley
face, however if you were to take a second glance at
our name and logo, you would realise that our logo
is a ‘glad stone’. Just like our logo, the glad stone,
the house reflects the same characteristics. We stay
happy, cheerful, strong and always full of spirit.
In the beginning our character was tested at the Grade 8
Camp gala when we were placed in the bottom five. However, just
like the theme of the camp, we survived. Our true colours were
shown at the Inter-House Gala when we placed third for the Spirit
Cup.
On the cultural side, Gladstone outdid itself by winning the
award for Best Written House Play and being placed third for
the Best House Play. We did it again when we were placed first
in the Senior Public Speaking and placed second in the Junior
Public Speaking. Our spirit was tested when we placed last in the
Inter-House Water Polo and in the bottom five in the Inter-House
Quiz. We passed the spirit test when all the grades were placed in
the top three for supporter’s signatures. We proved to be a force to
be reckoned with when placed third in the Inter-House Athletics.
All in all Gladstone has proven always to be cheerful, always to be
high-spirited and always to ‘give it our all’.
It has been an honour being the Head of Gladstone. On behalf of
my Deputy, Kendahl Moore and me, we say to the next head and
