What could you do with your hope

Could you keep it inside and just never cope

Could you feel like your flying but not feel afloat - imagery

We as a country, have seen it all

The bridges have been built, sturdy and tall

Keeping out loved ones, colors of all. Ryhme (used more than once i poem)

We need to figure out a way to leave our struggles in the past

We cant forget, and we cant keep them to last

We have to learn from them, and do it fast

It is time for a new chapter with a new leader, making our country gleam hyperbolye

Its about joining hands, and coming together, thats our main theme

We need to find our hope, reach deep down inside.

I promise, its eiseier than it seems.

We have a fresh a start, a do over, a way to regain confidence, and make amends with the world

There may be obsticles, but we have made it through a ton

Its the hope, its the light within us, within eachother

Lets come together as one

Find your hope inside, and share it with another 3

The Abadoned Treehouse

She was a bright girl says the spelling bee plaque on the wall, next to her feild hocky trophies, and book stack tall
Her friend wasnt quite the same, says the homework stack on her desk, you gotta admit, shes pretty lame alliteration
Her brother was a curious little boy, says the magnifying glass on the table and the telescope toy
The girl and her friend loved to explore, the brother would tag along, says his muddy hiking boots next to the door.
As much as the girl never wanted her annoying little brother to come, he always found a way, he bribed her with gum
One day as the two friends were out on a quest ..”for what”? Her brother asked..he was being a pest.
They had been looking for wood to build a tree house, a place to hang out, her brother chimed in “what about the boat house?
Noooo! The girls cried. Its gross in there. We need to find a place with less bugs and less hair. -- onomatopoeia
Whatever you say, the brother groaned. He sat down in an empty tree trunk, holding is phone
No Way! The friend cried as she shoved through a bush. What is it, the boy pushed
When they got to the clearing it stood, tall and wide. A tree house! The friend crired
It was old and brown. When they ran over to see it , it made an odd sound. Like a moan, with a high pitced tone. Imagery
That was werid , the brother said as he picked up a wet and muddy green jacket, He also found one of those red candy packets .
They started to investigate, says the tree house shaking
They heared avoice at the top, thats when they started quaking Rhyme (multiple rhymes used

You are sunny, you are cheery, you are bright Rhyme
You are the warmth on a long winter's night
You are the apology after a fight
You are the one question on the test that that we get right

Everyone wants you when doing our schoolwork

We can only dream of the past (That's still sweet)
