Humankind Game Review

Humankind video game is a historical strategy game with combines
different eras and cultures. The game has been compared with the
previous game civilization or civ 6 scenarios.
Humankind can be compared to civilization or civ 6 narrators because
both have the element of wars, civilization and culture. but both the games
approach similar themes in their way.   So the civ 6 scenario is different
from humankind. You lead a life of a wanderer, nomadic in a neolithic
area.  In Humankind you are making your nation with the amalgamation of

area.  In Humankind you are making your nation with the amalgamation of
many cultures and diversities. Each culture gives its essence and makes
it unity in diversity kind of a place. Most of the things would feel pretty
similar to civilization.
Humankind is a result of massive history, you face the events that
happened in history and changes that happen throughout with moral
decisions and technological changes.
The game was formally announced in 2019 but was released on 17
august 2021. The game was released on Microsoft Windows, macOS
and  Stadia. Humankind has been the fourth bestselling video game of
2021 in the US.

In the humankind video game, you can make a custom avatar. Everyone
will be able to construct their stuff. There are a lot of things which you can
customize in the humankind character. You can change your identity,
face, brows, lips, hair, mouth, facial profile, costume and even skin colour.
You will see on the screen the humankind character is called an avatar. 
You can create any character you want. You can share the characters
with your friends. You get to pick the type o brows, eye colour. there are
not just physical features you can design but also there are archetypes
strengths and biases, which are your internal values. The qualities like
leadership, integrity, conflict resolution, temperance, sociability, tolerance,
resentment, trust and planning. You can choose how much of the

archetype’s strength you want from three options – cruel, balanced or
benevolent.

Humankind storyline

The humankind storyline is the history you must have read in your
history books and schools. In the Neolithic period, you are a  hunter, that
is what people did in that era or civilization. You will be building districts,
new cities, infrastructure, making boundaries of your territory. You will try
to keep the people of our city happy. Districts particularly those which help
generate food. Humankind started with aesthete culture.

Here is the list of the cultures –

Aesthete: Cultures that focuses on  Influence and diplomacy.
Agrarian: Cultures that focuses on  Food and Population growth.
Builder: Cultures that focus
on the Industry and District constructions.
Expansionist: Cultures that focus on the Territory expansions.
Merchant: Cultures that focus on  Money and Trade.
Militarist: Cultures that focus on Unit and War.
Scientist: Cultures that focus on Science and Technology.
You explore from one era to another, unlike other strategy games like civ
6 . you earn fame points and the empire with the most Fame points wins
the game. Fame is acquired in 3 ways –

you can acquire these stars in seven ways. The leader avatar goes
through the evolution in eery ear and culture by customizing the avatar.
The empire cannot be made without any battlefield and armies. Battles are
done and you have to win by killing the enemies. As such there are no
humankind characters or humankind storyline but you evolve as you
go from one era to another. Your costumes and features and everything
does change. Though there is not a storyline or narrative.

You are crafting your civilization. You enter each area and are given the
option to select one of the cultures of the world.it should not be the
Neolithic era. also, there is other 6 era each have distinct 10 cultures to
pick from. Each has its district and its legacy traits. The era represents
your progress in the game. every era has its special resources or things.
There are total 7 eras­

Neolithic Era
Ancient Era
Classical Era
Medieval Era
Early Modern Era
Industrial Era
Contemporary Era

Where you came from is never forgotten. You move to the eras very
quickly. You need to acquire 21 era stars. The player has to gain 3 era
stars. You are progressing through eras and technology. To go from era to
era, you need to complete certain missions or yaks to get to the next era
and the next. As you complete an era and the tasks in that ear you get
fame. Fame is the ultimate factor in deciding where you reach into the next
era. Beyond stars, there are other things also. You discover as you move
around the tactical map.  There are 60 playable cultures. The cultures are
linked to their cultural affinities in humankind gameplay. The English are
agrarian and romans are expamistion which is already there in the kind of
cultures. The culture has its distinctive emblematic districts and

As you go you encounter armies, as you go forward you will see the
acquired battlefield on the tactical map. Every battle will happen on the
tactical map. The tactical approach is used by humankind. The important
thing in humankind is not that you have to complete the mission and go to
the next era. It is about the journey which you take on and then you get
fame in return. Every RTS tactical battle you win you get fame. There is
an actual battlefield brew that works i.e battles you have to fight and
you unlock your special abilities and armies of two pc.
Son in humankind walkthrough – you build your civilization, customize
your humankind character, tactical creations to fight the battles. The
tactical creations map would further unfold the commanding tent, side
battles etc. if the enemy is killed the flag is put down. To win either you will
kill all the enemies or capture the defender’s flag.

Humankind mods

There are no as such humankind mods. But there are battle mechanics,
once you encounter an enemy it is marked on the world map. The battles
can be on land or water etc but the battle will only happen on the tactical
creations on the map. But the air battle can be done without rtc tactical.
But they are not that powerful as in other battles.

Once the battle begins, the enemy can attack you from many sides the
army and the alternative armies join the battlefield.

Also, initially, the humankind video game was supposed to release in
April 2021 but was pushed to August 2021 due to some unknown
reasons.

Humankind challenges you by throwing in the battlefield brew work
with enemies attackingyou with their alternative armies. The battles are
not easy as you can get an enemy from multiple directions and the enemy
has not just one but many other alternative armies. The battles can be
continued for many turns.

Graphics plays a major role in humankind. It is like a time­travelling game
as you go from the neolithic period to the medieval period, the Mughal
empire. they all are different in their distinct style and visuals. So to put the

civilization. The civ 6 narrator had a different way of putting the storyline.
Unlike other strategy games, it is based on where there is one culture and
one civilization. Humankind offers you new culture as you enter any one

of the 6 eras. The choices player make lead to their new societies and
how you govern your empire is your decision. You might get bored if you
are someone who likes to engage with characters and their back story.
There is no humankind charcters backstory for you. Yes, there is
adventure and battles to win and lots of enemies. Overall the agme is
great with its charm not like previous strategy games.
