VICE - PRESIDENT
(i) Responsible for assisting the President in carrying out the functions

the absence of the President.
SECRETARY 2
a) To conduct the affairs of the Association
b) Implement the decisions of the Annual General Meeting(AGM) and PTA
Committee meetings.
c) Record, prepare and keep minutes of PTA Committee meetings and AGM
d) Prepare reports to be presented to the AGM and the relevant minutes.
e) Manage meeting matters and keep records Association.
f) Send all reports and activities of the Association and the minutes of the
Annual General Meeting to the Registrar and the District Education Officer
or the Divisional Education Officer, after the Annual General Meeting.
g) Sign checks or statements of, if necessary.
TREASURER 2
a) Responsible for managing and controlling the financial affairs of the
Association by preparing and maintaining up-to-date financial accounts.
The balance sheet for each financial year (1 January to 3 l December)
must be completed before 1 February of the following year for audit.
b) Audited balance sheet .shall be submitted for the approval of the AGM
c) Manage the expenditure of the money of the Association as decided by
the Annual General Meeting or the PTA Committee meeting.
d) Keep cash not exceeding an amount prescribed in the Constitution of the
Association at any one time. Receive on behalf of the Association all
donations or contributions from any member or other source and issue
receipts of accounts receivable and credited into the account Association
on the same day.
e) Sign checks or statements of withdrawal of moneys of the Association.
f) to ensure that there is no overdraft from the Association's account and
that the account always has a credit balance.
Ex-Officio 2
a) attend PTA Committee meetings, Annual General Meetings and
Extraordinary General Meetings, but may NOT vote;
b) represent the State Education Department and the Ministry of Education
Malaysia
c) reserves the right to suspend and adjourn meetings of the Association if it
deems fit in the interests of the members of the Association;
d) approve all meeting agendas and matters to be discussed in the PTA and
Association Committee meetings;
e) provide clarification on an issue on the management and conduct of the
School and academics as well as issues related thereto in the association
meeting;
f) ensure that the activities of the association are in line with the objectives
of the functions of the Association;

Regulation 5 (3) of the Education (Parents-Teachers Association) Regulations 1998,
outlines;
"The Association may, with the permission of the Headmaster or Principal organize
curricular and co -curricular activities in or outside the school by using skilled manpower
or experts from among members or non -members for the purpose of improving academic
achievement or overall student development".
