Fashion Designer

 They use Computer-aided Design (CAD).
 Some designers hand sketches to the computer.
 CADD software, or environments, provides the user with input-tools for the

purpose of streamlining design processes.

Doctors

 They can now see deep inside the body without using exploratory surgery.
 Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to visualize organs and other tissues in

the body.
 Doctors and Physicians do research and make procedures to help prevent,

diagnose, and cure diseases.

Athletes

 Referees use technology to quantify the athletes’ performance during a game.
 They also use it to set a training program and game strategies.
 If athletes can collect all types of data, then having an expert look over the

data becomes paramount.

Auto Mechanics

 Mechanics compare the data produced by the diagnostic equipment to the
standards provided by the manufacturer.

 They are able to diagnose problems based on the latest information
downloaded from manufactured databases.

 Other specialized auto part tools used by mechanics include tire pressure
gauges, oil filter wrenches and cutter tools.

General Construction Workers

 Technology is used to create more efficient day-to-day operations.
 Shifting toward smarter building structures.
 They use a centralized control system which monitors an entire building’s

functionality.

Detective/investigators

 The LA-ICP-MS machine breaks glass samples of almost any size down to their
atomic structure.

 They use a DNA profiling to identify criminals and victims using trace evidence
like hair or skin samples.

 Detectives collect evidence from a crime scene and analyze the information
they gather about the crime.

Geologist

 Technology allow geologists to excavate, analyze, and store samples from the
earth as she studies rocks, minerals, and other formation.

 Infrared technology can help scientists to predict volcanic eruptions, and to
search for gold and silver hidden in the ground.

 They use technology to find and gather data.

Landscape Architects

 SketchUp is a great tool for portraying a design in 3D.
 CADD software enables architects to sketch, measure, draft and layout their

designs to create 3D representations of future buildings on a computer.
 Archicad is more of an all-around 2d/3d application that is intended to

provide a total project output.

Security Guards

 They use drones and cameras to monitor what’s going on in a specific place
without being seen by others.

 Some places use robot-guards to protect stores or houses.
 Smartphones are used to perform key job related tasks.

High School Teachers

 Some teachers use the internet to find educational videos to show their class.
 High Schools are using virtual teachers that help students at school while they

are at their house.
 They use cellphones apps to deliver information to students.
