When you take admission to a post-basic nursing college, it will prepare you in every way for your Nursing career. During this course, you will learn all about patient care and how to treat patients with various illnesses and injuries. You'll also become skilled in basic nursing skills like taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams and treatments and inserting various tubes used during procedures. Because patients in hospitals require continuous care, nurses usually work shifts to provide round-the-clock care.
