Prior to processing customs clearances in accordance with clearing instructions, it is
imperative and proper to ensure that certain pre-requisite information is at hand or
received from the customer/client (importer/exporter). This information will enable you to
follow due processes and procedures which will ensure successful compliance to all relevant
regulations and requirements pertaining to the movement of the goods.
Some of the standard documentation required is as follows (where applicable):
