shown its seniors a whole lotta
love.

More than 500 handcrafted
cards were gathered up and
distributed in time for Valentine’s
Day, Monday, Feb. 14, according
to the project’s sponsors, the
town’s Recreation Department
and the Ruth Keeler Memorial
Library.

“Wow, North Salem… you
impressed us yet again,” they
said in a Facebook post, adding:
“ ank you thank you thank you!”

Besides the families and
individuals, classes of schoolchildren and
local groups broke out the glitter, glue,
and hearts to put smiles on the faces of
seniors and homebound individuals.
