Activities for the whole family
Grandma and grandkid will both be happy

BY NANCY SORBELLA

What exactly are multi-generational diversions? Activities that can be enjoyed by all generations of your family; something for everyone to experience together. If you read my Diver-
sions column, you know that I have three kids spanning ages 7 to 25 and a very engaged nonagenarian mom.

My mom was an art teacher in Westchester for 40 years and we explored the arts locally and around the world. When she retired back to the midwest and I had kids, we had less
time together, but the time we did spend together was more meaningful.

Each visit is made memorable by all the experiences we have logged in the Hudson Valley during these semi-annual sojourns. e right activity for us has to be fun,
challenging, interactive and not sedentary. Museums and historic sites check o every experiential box. Recently, we gathered over the holidays and reminisced
about our favorite excursions; all walkable and handicap accessible, perfect for every age, interest, ability and season. We made a list of our favorites just for you:

Upgrading?
Downsizing?
Making a change?

You need a partner who knows the neighborhoods, the market
and the process, who can advise you when to think on it, sleep on

it or go all in on it. Because this is about much more than bricks
and sticks. This is about your current or future home. And you

don't want to just live with it – you want to love it.
