Santa Claus traded in his reindeer for a re engine on Saturday, Dec. 11, as
part of the Mohegan Lake Fire Department’s annual Candy Cane Run.

Recreation is also pursuing a

liquor license; however, as of now,

town law prohibits them from

being issued on town parkland.

e Town Board is expected to

revisit that issue in early 2022.

When all is said and done,

Martorano is hopeful for an

April opening.

“I feel like a lot of people want

to get on this course and start
