Design We pride ourselves on providing a truly individual service for all customers, complementing an
extensive choice and good stock levels with a comprehensive design service. Customers can
choose from a range of hand-made mosaic designs or commission one to their own specifications.

Working from detailed drawings or just a sketch or picture, our skilled, experienced creative team will
develop bespoke mosaics. The result can truly be called a work of art, inspired by the customer’s
own imagination.

We can use any of the true, cut or full tile methods of mosaic depending on which is suited for your
specified environments.

Digital Print This method uses state of the art inkjet technology to
print a digital image onto the surface of the mosaic.

Full Tile The full tile method of mosaic is created using the full
Tile Bands & uncut mosaics placed in set trays to your chosen
Fades designs. Full tile is the most economical method of
production and design.

Tile bands and fades are usually produced using the full
tile method primarily for the decoration of pool walls.

True Mosaic The true method of mosaic is created using tiny
colourful pieces of broken mosaic that when put
together form a beautiful work of art.

Cut Tile The cut tile method consists of tiles that are
precision cut and positioned into the mosaic grid to form
the exact shape of the chosen design.

Digital Print

One of our most contemporary methods of mosaic design production, Digital Print literally replicates
any image to any scale. Picking up the minutest of details, it is ideal for intricate designs in a small
area or where photographic reproduction quality is required.
Our design team can use any high definition image you desire, be it a family member, favourite
landscape or iconic image and reproduce it onto vitreous glass mosaic suitable for use in the pool
or any internal or external wall application.

DesignFull Tile

A cost-effective way to personalise any pool is to create a simple but stunning motif using the “full
tile” mosaic method. Simply supply a picture of your required design and it can be reproduced using
mosaic in various colours.
Motifs can be produced using most of our popular mosaic ranges, the smaller the mosaic the more
detail can be achieved within the available area, eg. the image above was created using
12x12mm glass mosaic whilst the image below was made using 25x25mm Harmonie mosaic.

DesignTrue Mosaic

The origins of a true mosaic are derived from
Greek and Roman artisans who created
painstakingly detailed designs of significant
scenes, by using broken pieces of glass,
ceramics and stone. Their longevity is confirmed
through the many mosaics still standing after
thousands of years of wear.
Our True Mosaic method borrows techniques
from this original formula, by using tiny colourful
pieces of ceramic and porcelain tile to form a
spectacular art piece. Our design service
meticulously places each tile to suit the form of
your image, creating a beautiful and original
piece of art.

Cut Tile Design

The cut tile method is one of skill and
intricacy ideal for creating highly
detailed motifs with smooth flowing
lines. Motifs are made by hand
painstakingly cutting and shaping
each individual mosaic to replicate
even the smallest detail.

Natural

In the natural version the Torino series is at its
most versatile. It is appropriate for use in every
environment of the residential and commercial
sectors. Results achieved will be of the highest
standard both from an aesthetic and technical
standpoint.

Silk

The silk surface is achieved by mechanical
polishing and produces a perfectly smooth
subtle satin finish with great tactile appeal and
with the added benefit of being easier to
maintain.

Riven (R11 A+B) A

The riven finish is ideal for areas where a
degree of slip resistance is required, as it meets
both the DIN 51097 A+B and the DIN 51137 R11
standards. An aesthetically pleasing surface in
itself it is particularly effective in combination
with the other surfaces.
