Preface

This report is a part of the Project subject
30212-8501 in Diploma Certificate. The purpose of this
report is to provide readers to learn about Compound
Word which is important for basic learners English and
it is useful because it will be shown in any situation
or in the lessons.

The purpose of this project is the writer wants
the readers to use the knowledge of Compound Word
in direct way and thank you teacher Suppamas
Kitpadermkul and my friends who supports me. I hope
who goes through it will find it useful and worth
learning.

รายงานฉบับนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของวิชา โครงงาน 30212-8501
ระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา
ความรู้ที่ได้จากคำประสม ซึ่งรายงานนี้มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับความรู้จาก
คำประสม ซึ่งเป็นคำสองคำที่มีความหมายต่างกัน มาประสมกันจน
เกิดเป็นคำใหม่ และความหมายก็เปลี่ยนไปด้วย

ผู้จัดทำได้เลือกหัวข้อนี้ในการทำรายงาน เนื่องมาจากเป็นเรื่อง
ที่น่าสนใจ เข้าใจง่าย น่าเรียนรู้ และต้องขอขอบพระคุณ ครูที่
ปรึกษาคุณครู ศุภมาศ กิจเผดิมกุล ผู้ให้ความรู้และแนวทางในการ

What is
Compound Word?

A Compound Word is two or more root words
are merged into a new and different word.

There are three different kinds of compound :
Open Compound Words,
Closed Compound Words , and
Hyphenated Compound Words.

คำประสมคืออะไร ?

คำประสมเป็นที่ที่รวมคำรากศัพท์ ตั้งแต่สองคำขึ้นไป
เป็นคำใหม่และมีความหมายต่างกันไปจากรากศัพท์เดิม

คำประสมมี สาม ประเภท : คำประสมแบบเปิด
คำประสมแบบปิด
และคำประสมแบบใส่ยัติภังค์

1. Open Compound Word

It formed when two words remain
separate on the page but are used
together to create a new idea with a

specific meaning.

คำประสมแบบเปิด

เป็นคำสองคำ ที่เขียนห่างกัน
แต่นับเป็นคำเดียวกัน

และมีความหมายต่างจากคำเดิม
ก่อนที่จะนำมาประสมกัน

2. Closed Compound Word

It formed when two fully independent,
unique words are combined
to create a new word.

คำประสมแบบปิด

เป็นคำสองคำที่เขียนติดกัน
โดยเมื่อรวมกันจนเป็นคำใหม่แล้ว

ก็เกิดความหมายใหม่ขึ้นทันที

3. Hyphenated Compound Word

It formed when two separate words
are joined together
by a hyphen.

คำประสมแบบยัติภังค์

เป็นคำสองคำที่นำมาเชื่อมกัน
ด้วยการใส่ยัติภังค์

ซึ่งนำมาใส่คั่นกลางคำประสมสองคำ
