4 BARRIERS IN ACCESS INFORMATION

Accessing information nowadays has been an easy task for public as everyone can access scientific,
complete and traditional knowledge in a language they can understand. In this millennium era
where more and more information is being transferred online, Internet access is a frequently
needed causation of access to information. As a precaution for any malicious party that trying to
access some private information, there are barriers to accessing information.

In the first place is government or departmental policies. The government data is an extremely
private and are not available to access for public. So there are some policies that need to be fulfill
before the access of information as this is to prevent any leakage in their information.

Secondly there are physical barrier in access to information. Physical barrier can be explained as lack
of efforts to access. As an example here, blind, deaf and so on. This makes them twice as difficult to
access information than the normal one. For communication to be effective, people need to
understand each other or else the key of information will lost.

Next, the other barriers or problems in access to information is information resources were poorly
organized or unorganized. This is because the organizer doesn't think that the information is
valuable and thinks that it's not important. This could lead to problems and it will be difficult for
users to get information that they need. The organizer should organize the information so that the
user could access information easily. Other than that, the barriers and problems in access to
information are language barriers. This is a common problem to everyone, the information that the
users need should be suitable language with them so that here's no problem in finding the
information that they need.

In conclusion, access to information is not that difficult if you use the right way to access it. Everyone
could get the information they want in this new era because we can access it with various lines.
