World Environmental Day
Celebration

The theme for World Environ-
ment Day 2020 is, 'Time for Na-
ture,' with a focus on its role in

providing the essential infra-
structure that supports life on
Earth and human development.
It was an awe-inspiring moment
when AJI Primary spent their
‘Time’ for ‘Nature’. Through the
e-activities, the students have
showcased their talent and confi-
dence to overcome challenges!

Online Appreciation Day

It was a proud and blessed moment when the
winners of the HH Sheikh Hamdan Award for
Academic Excellence, Sharjah Award for Edu-
cational Excellence, Certificate of Excellence,
etc. were appreciated on 18th June, 2020. Our
honourable Chairman Mr Arshad Sharief,
Managing Director Ms Tanveer Arshad and
the Vice Principal of AJI Ms Humera Sharief
appreciated the winners. Their valuable words
motivated the winners to aim higher!

It was a grand ceremony appreciating
the talents and winners from different
zones of excellence! Our beloved Vice
Principal Ms Humera Sharief shared
the achievements of Distance Learning
followed by a graceful dance perfor-
mance by the students.

Student Council Election

A JI Primary Student Council Election was held on 2Ist June,

2020 through online voting.
The purpose of the student council is to provide students an oppor-
tunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school ac-
tivities and service projects. It builds their confidence and shapes
them to be a responsible citizen as well as a responsible member of
their family.

and social-emotional skills.

A wide variety of activities
were included such as Su-
percharge Your Story time,
Play your puppets, Show
and Tell, Put on a play,
Start a language-rich res-
taurant at home, Make a
museum, Reader’s Theatre,
etc. Students were free to
choose an activity of their
choice.
