TRIPINDI SHRADHA AT
TRIMBAKESHWAR

As we all know, Trimbkeshwar Temple has
importance to perform all kinds of Puja's like
Narayan Nagabali, Kaal Sarp Dosh, and Tripindi
Shradha. This religious act should be performed at
the holy place of the Trimbakeshwar Temple near
Nasik, Maharashtra.

Trinity or Tridevata (Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva) are the main
gods in this ritual. One must perform Tripindi Shradha as per the Hindu tradition
for their ancestors to calm their departed souls.

It is advisable that do not to perform these Pujas in the festive days of Navaratra.
It's not good to perform Tripindi and Tirtha Shradha on the same day. But if one
is running short of time, then first perform Tripindi Shradha and then Tirtha
Shradha. Before performing tripindi Shradha, it is necessary to take a holy dip in
River Ganga to apologize and purify the body.

Tripindi Shradha Pooja should perform on months like Vaishakhmaas,
Shravanmaas, Karteekmas, Margasirshmaas, Paushyamaas, Maghmaas, and
Phalugunmaas as per the Hindu calendar.

Tithi or the date may Panchami, Ashtami, Navami, Dashami, Ekadashi,
Trayodashi, Chaturdashi, or Amavasya. It would be beneficial to perform this
Tripindi Shradha Pooja during Sun's transit in Kanya Rashi (zodiac Virgo) or
Tularashi (Libra), generally in September and December.
