PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. This file consists mostly Playful Paperwork Diplomas and Permits. To print
Alternative Street Signs and Adult Specials Achievement Stickers click here

2. Diplomas and declarations look better when printed on parchment or cardstock
paper. A Joy Permit looks better printed on colorful paper, but is valid on a regular
paper as well.

3. By using a ruler, cutting knife and a cutting board you can increase efficiency
rates by 213% and distribute hundreds of Joy Permits, bulletin board signs and
other documents.

4. For your convenience, all documents here are pre-certified. However,
embossing/stamping documents is a great addition to the issuing process and is
stated to improve recipient’s experience. For $5-$20 you could buy or design a
stamp or embosser that'll enhance your bureaucratic appeal. Check your local
stationary store or amazon.

5. You may follow ECN Regulations (G-786) with guidelines on issuing process (see
last slide).

6. By printing Playful Paperwork you may be qualified to register an Empowerment

Use a ruler, cutting board and a knife to print hundreds of permits at once. All ECN documents are registered as Property of
Humanity. You may use them to improve quality of life of recipients using humor, kindness, active listening and emotional
support for your fellow human beings and increase Compassion Efficiency Rates.

7. You can reduce cost by using off brand ink or finding a free/used printer.
8. Have fun! (you are required to enjoy according to ECN Regulations).
9. We recommend a nice pen, check out the Affordable Fountain Pen Act.
10. All services are offered based on the gift economy model (pay it forward or donate

to cover your printing/postage cost)

You can design you own embosser for about $20 on amazon (for example -
“EMPOWERING CLERKS NETWORK OF OAKLAND CERTIFIED”) which will add a
lot to the experience of recipients. You’d be able to add a legal protocol once you
issue a document, like ‘this makes it an official document, and if anyone ever
question it, including yourself, you’re always have it as a proof’. Especially for the
Certificate of Recognition which is recommended to be issued as an interview by
asking the recipient what they like about themselves this can add a lot to the

Congratulations for choosing to be an Empowering Clerk! The Empowering Clerks Network (ECN) is the leading organization helping
people around the world through the healing process of Supportive Bureaucracy. We wish you a successful journey in your new duty, may
you serve and protect your community while gaining personal growth. Remember, the CSB is always here to answer any question
regarding the issuing process, documents supply and training new clerks. For your convenience, we created the Guidelines for New Clerks
(GNC).

❏ It is recommended to conduct an interview in order to issue a Certificate of Recognition (COR.) It can either be issued to the
participant or to someone he/she wants to celebrate. You are the assistant, offering editing, phrasing and suggestions if needed. The
goal of the document is to celebrate the areas in the person’s life that don’t usually get recognized. It can be taking care of a sick
family member, being kind and generous or even doing the dishes. Whatever the person brings is what needed to be recognized.
Remember, you are providing them with a service. By asking them the right questions (what are you good at, what personal
qualities, professional achievements and contents of character you’re proud of etc.) and thinking together of how to phrase the
certificate you can reach excellency as an Empowering Clerk (EC) and help answer the high demand for recognition. After you’re
done writing the certificate, hand it to the issuer and make sure (s)he agree with everything and do not wish to make any changes. It
is important to declare that once you and an eligible witness sign the document and you seal it, it becomes an official document.
You may offer the participant to find a witness (s)he knows while issuing the certificate or afterwards if a specific witness whose
not present is desired. Make sure to place the nota ry seal in the bottom middle of the document and practice on scrap paper before
using the Alfassi Books Seal (TML8667.) It is required to have a certificate issued to yourself before issuing it to others. Find

❏ Form 601(c), application for a Forgiver’s License: Class A license allows holders to forgive themselves and others, Class B allows
forgiving others only. You may Distribute the forms to people who wish to apply. Forms can be sent to CSB (Attn: Processing), 60
Anderson St., Beacon NY 12508 or to [email protected].

❏ A professional Clerk is always ready to provide pre-sealed Apology Declarations (form 447D) for participants who want to issue by
themselves (DIY), or help issue it together (use section 1 regarding COR issuing for instructions.)

❏ A standard ECN Joy Permit is valid for 6 months (institution Joy Permit is valid for 12 months). One may renew it online at
www.supportivebureaucracy.org or using white out. An Empowering Clerk may ask applicant about areas in his or hers life where
more Joy is needed and write that in the notes.

❏ True Friend Diploma, OK Parent Award, Loving & Liable Entity, An Empowering Clerk (you) may honor a special friendship, a
parent or an entity with this official document. You may refer to the official announcement for each document at
www.supportivebureaucracy.org.

❏ Gift Economy. Alfassi Books ECN and CSB are based on the gift economy model (bit.ly/1dSlL09.) Like Wikipedia and the Blood
Bank, if you choose to participate you are doing it in order to support your fellow human beings. However, it is very likely that you
will provide tremendous help to people through Supportive Bureaucracy, and they might feel the need to give something back to you.
In that case, you shall provide the following options:
4.a. You may receive a donation for your service. There is NO suggested donation.
4.b. They may give some of their time/money/talent to another cause (“pay it
forward”). There is no time limitation or supervision on that.
4.c. Supporting Alfassi Books - ECN (via paypal at alfassibooks.com) to help us
cover the costs of the project.

❏ It is important, and some say critical (bit.ly/1ciSxn2) to provide a different economy experience. Such model can help release some of
the tension we have around money as a society and individuals. Remember, the value of the paper and notary sticker is about a
quarter, but it can be priceless to someone who receive it. There is a special Kavanah (intention) in not pricing such service. If you
