ทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเป็นทักษะที่จาเป็นในการพัฒนาภาษาให้มีประสิทธิภาพย่ิงข้ึน
เมื่อนักเรียนได้พัฒนาทักษะการอ่านท่ีต่อเนื่องจะส่งผลใหม้ ีนสิ ัยรักการอ่าน รักการเรียน เกิดทักษะ

Payoon Trang Tower

For the tourists who are fascinated by the beautiful scenery of beaches, seas, and islands
as well as tasty food, Trang or Muang Thap Thiang will immediately come to their minds. It has
been a prosperous seaport since it used to be in the past. Its history is shown in various tourist
attractions such as Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahison Phakdi Museum. Moreover, Trang is widely
known as the first place where rubber tree was planted. Today, the rubber trees are the important
economic crops of the South of Thailand. The trees are the sources of income for many peoples
from time to time. Apart from the rubber, the abundance of forests, water sources, and caves are
as important tourist sites as the beaches, seas, and groups of islands. Therefore, the visitors can
get wonderful experiences from Trang in terms of its history, livelihood, and nature with the
appropriate and adequate facilities provided in each area.

Beautiful Beach: Hat Chao Mai National Park

Pak Meng Beach is in Sikao District, about 38 km. from Trang town.When you looking
out to the sea,one may find a large stone .

Chao Mai National Park ,It’s 50 km farfrom town. The area became a national park
in1987 It covers Mook Island, Kradan Island,Chuak Island and Chao Mai Island.

There are beautiful coral reefs under water around this island. Chao Mai Island has clear
blue water . Diving and snorkeling are popular tourist activities

Yong Ling Beach

Yong Ling Beach,in Kantang District,is a peaceful place. When you walk along the
beach,you can see the huge mountains in front of you. Swimming and diving are favorite activities.
The high cliffs of the mountain are the home for bats and swallows.

Amazing Island : Libong Island ,Kradan Island ,Mook
Island and Sukorn Island.

There are many amazing interesting island to see.Trang has famous for many beautiful
and peaceful island. There are more than 40 islands such as Libong Island ,Kradan Island ,Mook
Island ,Sukorn Island and many islands

Libong Island Libong Island is the biggest
island in in Kan Tang District,45 km
far from town.It has many birds.It is
called the land of sea birds. Around
the island is cover by the seagrass
which is the food of dugong. The
dugong becomes extinct.The visitors
need to take a boat at Kan Tang pier
and take about an hour to reach Kao
Li Bong

Kradan Island is part of the Chao Mai
National Park.It is the most beautiful island of Trang.
It covers the area of 600 rai.The water is clear,clean
and blue.You can see coral reefs under water.
Tourists can dive and enjoy swimming.Tourists can
take a boat from Pak Meng to Kradan Island in about
1 and a half hours.

Mook Island is part of the Chao Mai National
Park. This Island is the most famous attraction
in Trang sea.It has a white sandy beach and
sand capes. On the west coast is Moragot
(Emerald) cave. Its emerald colored water is a
fantastic sight to remember. Visitors can get
to Mook Island in about 40 minutes by taking a
boat from Pak Meng pier in Sikao District
It is pinpointed as the most outstanding place
in Trang sea. On the western part of island is
covered by the high cliff which turns its head to
the sea. The tourists can take the boat at Pak
Meang Pier at Amphur Sikao to visit Kao Muk,
taking approximately 40 minutes with the fee of
1,500 baht per a boat on daily baisa. Another
option to visit there is taking the public boat at
KuanTung Ku Pier with 40 baht a person which
take about an hour to reach the island.

Sukorn Island is in Palain District.It
is called Koh Mu (Pig Island)
because many boars lived there in
the past. The majority of people here
are Muslim and the occupations are
fishing and farming. You can take a
van from town and then a ferry from
Tha Kham Pier to Sukorn Island in
about 40 minutes

Namtok Ton Te (น้ำตกโตนเต๊ะ) is 45 kilometres from the city. It is the tallest and most
popular waterfall in Trang with water that drops down 320 metres of rocks. The source is in the
Banthat Mountain Range. Assorted tropical floras cover the surrounding area.

Tham Le Khao Kop (ถ้ำเลเขำกอบ) This cave is a popular natural wonder with a stream
flowing through it. The cave itself looks like a high and steep cliff with layers of rocks. A canal from
the Banthat Mountain Range divides into 3 waterways upon reaching Khao Kop, 2 going around
the mountain and the other flowing through the cave under the mountain. Stalactites and
stalagmites line the cave for about 4 kilometres. Currently the Khao Kop Tambon Administration
Organization provides rowboats for visitors to view the cave and to be an eco-tourism and
adventure activity by the locals.

Namtok Sai Rung (น้ำตกสำยรุ้ง) This single-level waterfall falls from a high and huge cliff.
The water turns into a rainbow as the sun shines through it.

How to visit Trang:
The tourists van visit Trang by various ways including personal car, public van or

bus,train, and plane.Within the southern province of Trang, the public transportation are provided
for the tourists to visits various districts. The public transportation includes Tuk-Tuk or Tricycle,
minibus, bus, and van.Beside the land transportation, boat can be another important for tourism
since Trang seems to be the center of traveling to many groups of islands in both Trang and Krabi
which have run-on territorial waters. Many piers in Trang such as Pak Meang pier, and Hat Yao
pier provide the public boat for the visitors to visit various tourist sites.
