Các em học sinh thân mến!
Cuốn Tài liệu bổ trợ vào lớp 6 môn Tiếng Anh được biên soạn nhằm giúp các em học sinh
chưa được học tiếng Anh một cách có hệ thống ở tiểu học làm quen với những nội dung
ngôn ngữ cốt lõi của tiếng Anh tiểu học (ngữ âm, từ vựng, ngữ pháp) và luyện tập các kĩ năng
giao tiếp cơ bản (nghe, nói, đọc, viết) để học sinh có thể học tiếng Anh lớp 6 theo Chương
trình Giáo dục phổ thông năm 2018 môn Tiếng Anh của Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo.
Cuốn Tài liệu bổ trợ vào lớp 6 môn Tiếng Anh gồm 12 đơn vị bài học (Unit), hướng đến 12 chủ
đề giao tiếp và 6 đơn vị bài ôn tập (Review), được biên soạn cho 45 tiết học. Kế hoạch dạy
học cụ thể là:
12 Units x 3 tiết/ Unit = 36 tiết
6 Reviews x 1 tiết/ Review = 6 tiết
3 tests x 1 tiết / test = 3 tiết
Tổng số: 45 tiết
Mỗi đơn vị bài học (Unit) gồm các phần sau:
Phần một: Luyện ngữ âm
Phần hai: Luyện cấu trúc ngữ pháp và từ vựng
Phần ba: Luyện các kĩ năng nghe, nói, đọc, viết
Mỗi đơn vị bài ôn tập (Review) có cấu trúc 3 phần như các đơn vị bài học nhưng lượng bài tập
ít hơn. Các đơn vị bài ôn tập được thiết kế để tổng kết các hiện tượng ngôn ngữ của các đơn
vị bài học, và có thể dùng làm bài kiểm tra kiến thức ngôn ngữ và kĩ năng giao tiếp.
Với cách tiếp cận đa chiều như vậy, các tác giả hi vọng sau khi học xong Tài liệu bổ trợ vào
lớp 6 môn Tiếng Anh các em học sinh sẽ tự tin học tiếng Anh lớp 6 ở trường trung học cơ sở.
