The Innovation and Strategic Improvement team works collaboratively with districts and community partners to design and organize systems of sustainable school improvement. This work includes an intentional focus on improving outcomes for students that have been historically marginalized. Monterey County districts and schools are supported in their continuous improvement journey through opportunities for data analysis and evaluation, facilitation, development and support for Local Control Accountability Plans (LCAPS), and state and federal accountability structures. The Innovation and Strategic Improvement team provides guidance to districts in application of state and federal level policies and ongoing requirements.

She has dedicated her career to increasing the quality of services and support staff with the strategies and tools to prepare our students for college, career and life. Throughout her career she has been involved in local and statewide collaboratives and partnerships to increase programming and services in inclusion, students with special needs, Social Emotional Learning, Summer Learning, Prevention/Intervention services, School Climate and Mental Health. His unique blend of expertise allows him to create and provide services that are holistically designed, taking into account the multitude of factors that affect the well-being of our children, educators, and families.
