While a teacher there, Dr. Fig taught ELA & ELD in a departmentalized classroom. Her educational career has spanned from Ontario, Canada, to Chicago, IL, to Salinas, CA. These broad geographical experiences have given her a very strong understanding of languages, dialects, multiculturalism, equity, and diversity.
