Accounting to then get my CPA license.
Where: Texas A&M
When: 2024
Which: Funding and Time
Specific: To make more than enough money to
support myself.
M - MEASURABLE
How much? $20,000 and it's going to take away
time out of my life to complete.
How many? Two years getting my basics at
Lone Star and two years finishing at A&M. In
Fall 2022 I will need to be involved in some sort
of internship which benefits my overall career
goal.
How will I know? When I have gotten my
Bachelors of Business Administration in
Accounting and have become a Certified Public
Accountant.
A - ATTAINABLE
Attitude - must be persistent and have a good
work habit.
Abilities - Be able to work and study to afford
basic needs and pay off loans.
Skills - time management, communications, and
creativity.
Financial Capacity - Will need to look into
scholarships and other forms of lowering
college costs.
R - REALISTIC
What are you willing to work for? Work to be
financially stable and have enough income to
support myself and others.
What you can work for? Work to get my CPA
which will take a lot of work which I am
dedicated to work for.
High Goal - This is by far my biggest goal at the
moment and is possibly the biggest goal I have
ever had in my lifetime.
REALISTIC - I believe my goal is realistic and
if I work hard enough i can accomplish it.
T - TIME BOUND
Date - 2024 I will be graduating for my
Bachelors of Business Administration in
Accounting. Then I will get to work on getting
my CPA which will require me to go to school
an extra year.
Time Frame - 2022 transfer to Texas A&M and
have an internship at an accounting firm, 2024
graduate, 2025 become a CPA and be ready to
go into the workforce.
Check - Every two months have a self
evaluation to see if I'm where I need to be.
