Professionally clean as needed.
Please be aware that maintenance on natural products calls for Dry Carpet Cleaning Only. Never
steam clean or wet-shampoo a natural fiber floor covering which can cause shrinkage,
discoloration, and/or staining.
Natural fibers are inherently absorbent and should not be placed in areas that are damp or
where spills are likely to occur (kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and
porches). Regular vacuuming will remove the fine dirt particles that can lodged between the
fibers.

Steps for spot removal.
The most crucial carpet maintenance is the immediate removal of spots and spills. Liquid spills
act as a magnet to dirt particles in the carpet, causing the dirt to rise to the surface and cause a
stain. Immediately blot (do not rub) the spot with a clean, absorbent white cloth or paper
towel. Remove spots caused by solid substances by removing any remaining material. Scrape it
up with a spoon. Keep doormats clean.

Polypropylene and recycled plastic carpets
Regular vacuuming and use of dry carpet powder.
To wash a rug, wet it down with the garden hose. Take a few drops of mild carpet soap and
scrub with brush to clean. Thoroughly rinse the rug with hose.
